I've downloaded the mac SWR (1.0) edition and the patch. I've moved them to the Zero Hour/Zero Hour Data/ folder. I've patched command and conquer generals to 1.04 and Zero hour to 1.02, although the only change I noticed was to CCG and not ZH (a little readme appeared in the CCG folder and the filesize changed a bit, while nothing seemed to happen to ZH). When I opened ZH, the blue window (splash screen?) appeared for a few seconds than ZH quit and the window closed. When I checked the error file, the reason it gave me was:

I am running mac os 10.5.6 (intel).
This is not the only mod I have seen with this problem. Others such as Zero Hour Unleashed or Contra 006 give me the same error message.
Could you please fix that?
The first thing I would suggest is a clean reinstall. Uninstall SW, ZH, and then DELETE the ZH folder.(last step is most improtant) Reinstall ZH and patch it up. Then follow the following installation insturction: Forum.cncreneclips.com (basically drag and drop some files and rename them correctly)
That's our official Mac user troubleshoot and installation thread. Hopefully with that, you can get your game running.

HELLO ARE YOU ONE OF THE MAKERS OF SHOCKWAVE AND RISE OF THE REDS?
i am trying to make a request..i love the two mods..they are the best mods ever..but is it possible if you can put shockwave into rise of the reds?
It's possible, but due to various limits, it would turn into a very watered-down game. We would have to remove and combine a LOT of upgrades, and the AI for various factions would have to be the same (thus their units, strategy, and build-order would have to be similar).
In short, yes, but it wouldn't be up to our standards.

Yeah, no, turboquid is not something I would suggest.
The best thing to have is actual 3ds max. The program is not cheap at all and is something that you'll prolly not purchase on a whim. I'm not going to encourage you to get it illegally, but that may be your only option.
There's a problem with the GLA man handled cannon. I use it and my game freezes. I'll look for more.

Please, there is no need to look for bugs; bugs that are found by the community have almost always been found and/or fixed in the devs already. (or is simply unfixable).
We have already made significant modifications to the AT gun.
Only one map for The Navy! Come on !!!!!!!!! Why not 12 maps for Navy On Shockwave.
If we make navy, there will certainly be more than one map, I can assure on that.
However, I did say if. At this point, the developement of the navy isn't very clear. I've heard that the initial tests for navy weren't satisfactory. There is a possibility that we won't make it simply because the Sage engine can't support a navy up to our standards.
But, as I've stated, the developement of navy isn't clear and probably won't be looked at for a while. It's status will be cleared up once RotR's developement slows down. We will certainly do everything within our power to make a good navy within sage.
