Fabulous mate!
Scroll down the mode list and you 'll find it...
Press the "pause" button and will be ok...
No argument here; EAW is just a mod. BotB is not just a mod. So, equilibrium of power between armors is not that important...;)
A major historical reconstruction. And IMO a hardcore war simulation. Considering that this is a solo (one man's) production, it's a MASTERPIECE...
The POW's idea is so IMMERSIVE. Brilliant, bloody brilliant matey!
* Future release: Is it possible to have some "night maps only" in order to introduce the "mortar teams firing illuminating flares (e.g. red color) to reveal enemy position territory (removing FOW) for a short period of time" idea?

Just A Perfect Day,
Drink Sangria In The Park,
And Then Later, When It Gets Dark,
We Go Home(and play BotB 3.0)... ;)
Well done Serg! Once again, great stuff matey..
Ju-52 model has been already reworked by Serg. It looks pretty good now..
BotB 2.7 used to be a mod. The next release will be a hardcore combat simulation. Congrats matey..
G'Day and Merry Christmas, Mate!
One month and counting..;)
Hello there Matt ;)
No it wasn't. Operation North Wind (Unternehmen Nordwind) was the last major German offensive of World War II on the Western Front. It began on 1 January 1945 (i.e. AFTER the Battle of the Bulge)in Alsace and Lorraine in northeastern France, and it ended on 25 January.
The first unit to receive the Jagdtiger was s.Pz.Jäg.Abt.653, as a replacement for the Elefant. The unit was sent to Fallingbostel, where they were trained using Porsche Jagdtiger. The first vehicles arrived in 1944-09, at which time the unit still had a few Elefants left (these were given to the second company, until Jagdtigers could replace them), along with some Flakpanzer IVs. The crews of the first company were sent to Fallingbostel, where they recieved training. First three Jagdtigers in this unit was 305006, 305007 and 305008.
In October, the unit moved out. s.Pz.Jäg.Abt.653 was assigned to the 17.Armee in Poland, during which time the third company also recieved some Jagdtigers. Production was slow, and in November, the unit had only 12 Jagdtigers. 6 more Jagdtigers recieved during November. In December, it was planned that the Jagdtigers should have taken part of the Ardennes offensive. 16 Jagdtigers are loaded onto trains, and two of the three trains unloaded 50 km. behind the front (as part of the 6.SS-Armee). Some Jagdtigers are diverted to Operation Nordwind, as part of the 17.SS-Panzer-Grenadier-Division. Despite accounts that the Jagdtigers were used during the Ardennes offensive, there are no prrof which supports it. There are no photographs of any Jagdtigers during the Ardennes, and crew testimoneys say that they were not. The main reason the Jagdtiers didn't reach the front is the logistic situation, which was worsened by the offensive and the weather.
ps3. The "Italian camo" was very popular among the 12th SS Panzer Division Hitlerjugend.

ps1. The Hitlerjugend members, had grown up under NSDAP propaganda, therefore they were fanatics. You could disable the retreat option for them.
ps2. Due to the "parental role" of the senior NCOs and officers (many of the recruits were so young that they were supplied with sweets instead of the standard tobacco and alcohol ration) they could come with the Hitlerjugends from the beginning.
Just a thought for the 6th SS Panzerarmy units; wouldn't it be more historically accurate if you introduce the Hitlerjugends(12th SS Panzer Division) instead of volksgrenadiers?
* "Hitlerjugends ("Hitler Youth") had no military experience. Veterans from the 1st SS Panzer Division LSSAH were assigned to the Hitlerjugend division and provided all the regimental, battalion and most of the company commanders. The SS could not provide all the officers required and 50 Army officers were assigned. They served in their army uniforms but were completely part of the division. Training for the division was unusual. Realizing that the division had to be made ready for combat as quickly as possible, they ignored many rules and regulations and instead focused on realistic combat scenarios and live-fire exercises. A result of this was that the morale of the 12th SS was exceptionally high, and the relationship between the officers, NCOs and men was an informal one, based on mutual trust and respect."
Pretty interesting, isn't it? ;)
I am very glad, indeed mate. You rock!
Nevertheless, a refreshing idea. I hope you can make a go of it matey.
The leIG is GREAT but the falls crew members who are wearing this "ugly" camo covered helmets are not. Your Falls skins are BY FAR the BEST I 've seen. Only the camo covered helmet needs some polishing (or replacing with the regular one or introducing new ideas like chicken wire/thin net).
An excellent idea! Halftrack's on fire. ;)
* Wouldn't be great (and pretty historically accurate)if mortar teams could fire illuminating flares (e.g. red color) to reveal enemy position territory (removing FOW) for a short period of time? Just my tuppence worth..
