Sorry, the ship i meant was the dreadnought, Its range with its blue beams of death is over half the map :P

Yeah i just installed a file which i found im Moddb which seems to work thanks, completely forgot about that lol forgot that i never installed the game on these machines before so didnt think about it. So i was an idiot beating the idiots guide so i should get a cookie :P

Anyways yeah the mod is great, Space combat looks fantastic and is great fun. No longer can you just build 100 SD and protect everything which makes it a nice challenge, i think though apart from ground combat (which i know is not being touched so not gonna go into that) is the cornsortium aggressor, the ship itself is pretty tough which doesnt have a shield gen to shoot but its ability is a real pain in the arse. 5 of these in a battle and if there is no SSD there (which you can only have 1) they rape everything with there blue beam of death which spanks heavy ships and light ships inc fighters.

Also the empire hero (the admiral, cant rememeber his name) His beam is kind of puny seeing its range is short and only targets a random sub system which only takes a fw shorts with normal lasers. Maybe reduce its cooldown quite a bit or increase its range?

Hi there, just started playing your mod, great stuff!!!. The difficulty is nice, feels like a really long drawn out war. Will throw some constructive critism but was wondering if anyone could throw me some help seeing im having some issues :P.

I have installed the mod on 2 different computers (1 laptop which is decent for games and a high end machine) both have Win 8.1 and both have a fresh install of EAW FOC. Anyways the game keeps crashing on me, A box comes up saying Expetion then closes the game down. Happens on both computers and its becoming a real problem because its 100% certain it will happen during long battles

The 1 in ur picture is a Cruiser, The 1 in the picture above is a dreadnought definatly, Hacket in ME3 was aboard 1 during he final battle

1 day i was sitting round bored, while lookng for something to do i come across my copy of FL, thought il kill a bit of time and install it. then found this mod and got stuck into it, Was only gonna play for a bit but got hooked on it and still aint left :P

Great gameplay, A talented dev team, a brillian balance system and a hell of a great mod with an even greater future, if ya a FL junky or wanna play for the fist time then this is the place for you :)
