Don't worry about it.
Das what I'm talkin bout. :)
It's a darn shame that I've never gotten wind of this fighter. It's not bad looking, although the X-wing still looks like a more advanced fighter to me.
Covenant fleet may be able to take down one scout...
10/10 would sit in
I do love the frigates.
Keep it up!
Not a bad idea at all, though a beach view would be pretty cool too.
Very useful tools, at least in DayZ they are.
One 550Ti is already faster than a regular 650. If you meant the 650Ti version, then it's about 50% faster than the 550Ti. I would buy a 650Ti personally, and then SLI it later down the line when you have more money.
Oh, and what are you doing with that GTX 9600 exactly? I have one of those exact cards collecting dust somewhere, are you using it with your 550Ti?
Might as well.
Water always looks so pure and shiny in games. I love it!
Sweet, getting paid to mod! Unfortunately I'm not very artistic and I can't help you with models and textures.
Well who the heck needs a strong fort if you can have a ship!?
All of the weapons look very small though... Oh well, they're still good models.
I like the look of this one, really industrial.
Reminds me of Fallout 3 weapons...
MA5B is the Halo CE assault rifle (the epic one with 60 rounds), rather than the MA5C D or K which were in other games or books.
Really needs some serious halo music!
Those replicators won't know what hit them!
I don't know why you guys think the size is wrong, looks fine in comparison to the hands.
Soooooo good looking, that BC-304.
Sweeeet. I would love to come across this in real life.
I like it, very simple. Simple is good.
NOOOOOOOO! Curse career success for getting in the way of the FAR more important work of talented people!
Do we get to play with the new assets, such as the Falcon and Elephant?
I can't wait for this game!
When have we ever even seen one save now? I never played Morrowind and there wasn't one in Oblivion to my knowledge.
The cockpit seems to have very low visibility for an aircraft with that fat canopy structure, but as a whole it looks amazing! I think it was like that in Reach anyway though.
That's valuable fuel! Don't shoot it, it'll just attract zombies from a mile away. Just rob the gas station for supplies and leave.
I'm glad to see that this is how this game is going to be! Co-op will be amazing too, but what happens when someone dies? Can the player no longer do anything but watch as his friend uses one of those 12 gauge shells on his head?
Beautiful, I can see this becoming a wonderful scenario. Is this game going to be a sort of simulation in that there aren't a million guns laying around everywhere? It'd be REALLY cool to have to worry things like finding survivors, hunger, sanity, rest, fuel for electric generators, fatigue, and structural integrity if you locked yourself up in a little house with a basement full of canned beans and a 12 gauge shotgun. All that would set this game apart from all the other zombie games I've played for the better. I really would love to help you with this project, but I'm a somewhat mediocre modder. All I've ever done was edit other people's meshes and textures as well as edit a few lines of script to meet my own ends. I also know NOTHING of Cryengine 3.

I like it! Although the rebel research center in the background kind of throws off the Haloness of it...
I'd say the spheres are little bit behind the tough dragons...
Glass looks a lot better in Skyrim than Oblivion.
Sanguine, my brother.
That's... so... amazing...
Pretty, except for the chrome metal...
I've heard it isn't worth what you pay for it, but it isn't bad.
I'd like to make a suggestion. Make the upper receiver bigger, the flash hider shorter and wider, look closely at a real P90 mag and model it again, and add a butt plate. Other than all that it's pretty sweet!
I concur. Legos were a staple in my childhood.
Wait, are you sure you're saying the beam rifle (this thing Halo.wikia.com) is a horrible sniper's weapon compared to this thing (http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Focus_Rifle)?
I have to disagree, for the Covenant the beam rifle suits them better. The focus rifle is useful at close to medium range, but is not a real sniper's weapon. It reveals your position very easily considering it's bright and you have to fire for a long amount of time to kill what you're shooting. The carbine is also more conventional than the needle rifle and can fire faster and fairly accurately, so I prefer it over the needle rifle.
I hope for the Halo 2 and 3 beam rifle and carbine, I'm not a fan of the needle rifle or the focus rifle.
Excellent looking ODST!
This may have been answered, but quite honestly I don't want to look. How are Spartans being handled? Just a few Spartan IIs that can be built, or like twenty Spartan IIIs at a time? Or just no Spartans at all? No Spartans would make sense because of their low numbers, but that wouldn't be very fun would it?
Although I like the cobra as well, the UNSC lacks a bit in antiarmor.
As long as it helps get the ground beta out faster, I approve completely.
Map markers would be nice!
Thank goodness, I really don't like brutes...
"That is pretty dang expensive." Those were my first thoughts. Forgive my Tennessee dialect.
Only one I want in there is the vulture.
In Halo Wars the hunters were basically made half as good as they are. If they were actually as good as they are then it would be pretty unbalanced though.
Yes, your English is way better than the vast majority of Americans anywhere. I'm saying this as an American myself.
I love that green.
"Our big green style can not be defeated!"
Those are basically massive bayonets to ram those pesky covie ships when the get to close!
Nice! Halo:CE marines with BRs. I thought I'd never see it...
I think if Bungie made a BR in Halo:CE it would look very close to this.
That wouldn't make since because the only UNSC ship at Halo was the Pillar of Autumn, and she crash landed on Halo during the very first part of the fighting.
Never flown a Hornet in Custom Edition. Can't wait to try it!
Yes, it isn't made up. Look at the cover of the novel Ghosts of Onyx.
Great to see you're making progress! Even if it isn't toward my most anticipated mod :(.
Or it's just super clean and non reflective!
Well I hope that'll work! But something tells me your going to need to do something clever to take them down rather than just brute strength. Maybe the UNSC equivalent of a turbo laser will do some work on them? A Scarab shouldn't be taken lightly in any situation though.
Exactly, but I doubt THAT could be pulled off...
I agree that MAC strikes are sort of wasteful and impractical. Archer missiles are way more practical and inexpensive compared to all it takes to fire a MAC round. Besides, a missile can't miss! Fire and forget baby!
I hope these babies will take down a scarab! Otherwise we're screwed!
Oh great, I'll have to deal with Scarabs... Speaking of that, the UNSC needs something to counter the Scarab. If MAC rounds are nearly instantaneous they could take it down easily, but what if you have no MAC rounds? Just thinking of the balance issues here.
Well that makes it somewhat even, doesn't it? If both sides are lacking a piece of their puzzle neither can finish before the other.
I vote ODST drops over MAC bombardment any day. Although it'll be nice to have MAC rounds to take down Scarabs.
I have a bit of constructive criticism for you. The Wraith mortar projectile is just downright massive! Later in the video it showed that it's area of effect is so large it can take down an entire platoon of marines that you just told to land in one shot. I don't know if you really want it that way, but this IS just criticism. Second, I find it strange that Hunters stand upright while idle. It's also strange to see them run upright, but it doesn't look as weird as when it's just standing there. Third, it looks like the Warthog has to stop to shoot. That makes their speed and agility useless to me, except when I use them as a fast response group. I don't know if you can fix that or that you simply didn't exploit that feature in the video. That's all of my criticism for now. I hope you aren't offended and keep up the great work!
Oh man, it'll suck having to fight those freakin choppers! Although I doubt the AI will use them how the should be used. I'll send them past the infantry to run them over, not just to hit them with the guns. Like the cavalry from LotR BfME2.
With all of this awesome land stuff, I can't wait to see what you do with space! Considering you aren't doing anything ridiculous like adding ships that don't exist (except of course you said you'd add the Vulture to space) it's going to be great! I can't wait to have the Pillar of Autumn under my control!
Thank all that is good! I can't wait for more updates! I hope you can still get to the ground beta stage by the time Halo CE Anniversary comes out despite this setback.
I'm so editing Johnson's XML to make him like Chuck Norris! I'll use him when I've got no other options left.
It's going to take forever to make my new character...
If you've got the cash for another hard drive or you can borrow another one from an old PC or some other person's PC, this is a the best course of action I'm pretty sure. Good luck with recovering all of that work! Oh, and use Windows 7 from now on! Or XP if you prefer it.
So that's what was going on with the mag, nice catch! Although I don't understand what that thing sticking out on top of the mag is... I have an airsoft Echo 1 P90 (pretty much a fully accurate model of the real thing) and I've used the P90 in a lot of different games. I'm pretty darn sure that there isn't anything under the magazine or on the top of the magazine. When I first saw this picture I was very confused and kind of still am. Why would they release an inaccurate picture? Oh well, I'm just happy my favorite weapon is in the game.
The pod drop was pretty cool to watch too.
I can't wait to see the Falcon! Will it have the main chin gun like the singleplayer one? Oh, and about the hornet, I think someone said there should be people riding on the sides because it looks empty. I agree with that but that may overpower it unless they only have assault rifles.
That poor marine laying limp on the command point didn't fare well against this fellow...
I was thinking of this as well. It was pretty nifty in Halo Wars to be able to use infantry to fight light vehicles and even heavy vehicles if you've got enough men. The rocket ability is a definite plus in my book, or at least a substitute like mines. Although if you're making ODSTs with rocket launchers, that ability would defeat their purpose.
These things shouldn't really be labeled anti air. They tear up ground based units better than the normal wraith. And if it's anything like the game, I'll bet if you skillfully maneuver those new hornets of yours, they can dodge most of the shots.
That's the first thing I'm taking down in a group of enemies. It looks to be as deadly to ground based units as it is to air based ones. I can see two of these things taking down two or three squads of marines and taking down a vehicle or two's health with one burst...
Uhhh, my last post went haywire. It was meant to be after what Farseer said about the flood.
That is my least favorite level in the entire series... Have you by chance ever read The Mona Lisa in Halo Legends? One of the best short stories I've ever read. Although there is another story in there called Dirt that is pretty amazing too.
