Anyway, like everybody else I would absolutely love to help, but don't have the skills. I've said that a lot and should probably do something about it. I'm guessing texture artists are harder to come by than modelers? What do I start playing with to learn about texturing models? I'm not completely new at messing with textures, but have no idea how UV mapping and grafting textures to models or anything like that works. If somebody wants to send me a quick message about this stuff and where to start, that'd be cool. I realize I probably won't be able to help you guys for a while, but at least I could be of some use at some point.

All that I want is a quick little Goa'uld attack in the SGC that I can play through over and over again. Kind of like that episode where Teal'c got stuck in that simulation. That'd be good fun.

Good to hear that you guys realize what I was talking about. I'm glad that you're thinking about fixing em' up a bit. DGaius is correct that the engine exhaust is indeed varying among different ships in the cannon, I was just saying that so they would look a little more uniform. (In Halo 2 and 3 exhaust was all orange, while in the other three games it is blue. Though they are different between games, they are consistent within them.)
If you want an example, take a look at the Marathon in the background in contrast to the rest of the ships.
This might have already been said, but here goes. Is it just the lighting that makes the UNSC frigates and cruisers look like their textures don't match up very well? I guess it's because several different people created the different textures for each ship, resulting in slightly different colors and levels of reflectivity. This mod would look way better if the colors of the ships in the UNSC were consistent. Even if it is the lighting, it'd be nice if you guys matched all of the engine exhaust to either blue or orange. (I know it varies between games, but in each Halo it is consistent.) Having both doesn't look very professional. Speaking of which, the UNSC definitely is a professional force.
Just a bit of constructive criticism, please don't take offense. I understand it's rather time consuming to go in and change all of the textures.

I dream of the day when I can play galactic conquest Halo style. Just imagine being the UNSC and desperately having to put up as large a defense as you can muster against an army three times larger and more powerful than yours. Or being the genocidal Covenant and organizing a massive assault in a holy war to cleanse the galaxy of humans. And if the flood ever get involved, it'll be even more terrifying and intense. It's going to be epic if the day that we have galactic conquest ever comes.
Master Farseer, I'm commenting simply to encourage you to resume your godly work on Campaign Commander. WE NEED YOU TO CREATE THINGS SO THAT WE MAY WORSHIP THEM! We can't go much longer without sustenance.
CaW is definitely not as high quality as Campaign Commander, the quality wouldn't be consistent and it would be bothersome. If the two mods were to be merged Farseer would not be the one to do it either.
One 550Ti is already faster than a regular 650. If you meant the 650Ti version, then it's about 50% faster than the 550Ti. I would buy a 650Ti personally, and then SLI it later down the line when you have more money.
Oh, and what are you doing with that GTX 9600 exactly? I have one of those exact cards collecting dust somewhere, are you using it with your 550Ti?
You really need P90s though. You just haven't skinned it yet, right?
Alright kids, it seems that accomplishing this isn't nearly as easy as overwriting the right files over others from their respective mods and crossing your fingers. This will take some serious XML and possibly script edits to accomplish a successful mod merge, sorry for the false hope folks. I've tried many combinations and any way you slice it ends up crashing like a paper airplane soaked in water. This business requires experience to pull off.
Finally! Now I go to work on merging this with Campaign Commander. The full Halo RTS is here, we just have to stitch it together.
