Are they going to be like they are in Halo Wars in that the ghosts have so little damage that an entire full population of them can't beat a scorpion? I'm talkin 40 ghosts vs 1 tank and the tank comes out on top.

In Halo Wars the hunters were basically made half as good as they are. If they were actually as good as they are then it would be pretty unbalanced though.

The UNSC frigate is bigger and firing a ton of missiles, looks like it's going to at kill most of those spooks and maybe a frigate with it's MAC gun. I could be completely wrong because I'm just guessing that the frigate is better than 3 of those spooks. Oh crap! Didn't see those seraphs...

And no, I don't mean they should be extremely overpowered. Just make them more expensive to compensate for shields.

A guass cannon is basically a miniaturized mac gun.
If it can destroy a nearby planet, then I'd say every ship even remotely close to that bomb (anywhere on the map) would be atomized.

However, they will probably freek out a little bit and order the majority of the fleet to fire on it and possibly order kamikaze runs because of the physiological problems the Fleet Master is having.
That gives me an idea! Why not give a space unit the ability to kamikaze? A huge ship hitting a space station would be amazing! Just think of the strategic options!
