When I play, the easy A.I. doesn't even build anything, and the normal level A.I. completely steam rolls me in the first 15 minutes of the game... By the time I get my first tank out, (An APC no less) they're coming at me with 7-8 squads, I barely even have my two starting capture points built onto yet... I have to play with at least one other ally A.I. to beat a normal level A.I., but it's hard to do that, because my frame rate tanks down to 1-7FPS when I have more than 1 A.I. in the game.
Okay, after some digging around, and messing with files, I figured out what was causing the model error on the capture points. That's solved now, but the very small issue of the scattered loading screen still remains. To my knowledge, it doesn't seem to be inhibiting the game in anyway. The only inhibitions I see, are random and sudden frame losses that go from 90-100FPS down to 1-5FPS for like a second, and then jump back up at random. Probably something on my end though.
I just completely removed Soulstorm, and reinstalled it. Then I ONLY installed the base 1.7.3 UA mod, no patch, no Tyranids, just the one 900mb installer. The game is doing the same scrambled pink mess for a loading screen, and when I select UA from the game manager, it says that it has failed to launch the requested game. Am I missing some kind of patch that's required to make UA work or something?
I have a couple of small problems with this mod. All the capture points are pink squares that say, "BAD MODEL! CHECK THE LOG!" all over them. The power station points look fine though; but the strategic/critical/relic points are all the pink boxes. Any way to fix this? Also, the loading screen looks like I pulled a cartridge out of my NES mid-game. (You older people out there will know what I mean.) Did I install something wrong? Also, I have ALL the race mods; but the Tyranids are the only playable extra race. Is it supposed to be that way?

Still got my eye on this mod, haven't stopped waiting for it ever since I first heard about it back in the summer of 8th grade on project perfect mod. I may be 23 now, but time hasn't diminished my anticipation for this mod!
Does anyone know of a place to get a no cd patch for Soulstorm? My new laptop doesn't have a cd drive...
Hi! This is just a curious question, but the current campaign that is the latest release/1.73, is it playable as is? I know that you want to work on it in later releases, but I was just curious if I could boot up the campaign, and play it, or is it like horribly bugged or anything that I should be aware of? I'm assuming that the A.I. isn't programed to build the mod related items in the campaign and the such?
Oh, and also, will DoW:Soulstorm work with Windows 7/8? I have an old XP computer if it won't, but that computer is only a 1.6 Ghz single core, and although it's capable of playing the game, it gets pretty slow in larger battles.

Now, I know modding communities always treat this as a loaded question, but I figured I'd try my luck regardless. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not being impatient, merely curious. I've been watching this mod since the beginning you see, so I'm a bit excited for 3.0. Now then, for MO 3.0, is this something that's still years away? Or is it something we can expect to release within 2013?

It's been a really long time since I played UA. With the new release, is the Tyranid faction part of the mod? Or do I have to download the Tyranid mod seperate and pair them together like in the old days? (Last I played UA was nearly 2 years ago)
I downloaded this mod, but the graphics in game are completely messed up, and the game doesn't display anything right, why is that? Everything shows "no name" and the graphics are just a mash of EaW textures.

It's good to see, that after waiting yet another year before checking back in, this mod is still going strong in it's attempts to release 3.0. Every other mod I've been anticipating has died it seems, and it looks like Tiberian Oddessy may die too. (last update was 7 months ago) It's a shame, I've been following that mod since I first saw it on PPMsite.com back in the 8th grade, I'm 22 now.
Please, send my ANYTHING you have on the mod if you're not going to release it, I've been watching and waiting for TO since 8th grade, I'm 22 now. I absolutely refuse to see this mod die.

Do you guys know of any mods that remove or Nerf Nod's Hallucinogenic grenades? I've hated those things since the very beginning of my playing of C&C3... Force firing with 6 teams of snipers on those confessers is just a pain... It makes infantry useless against Nod IMO, even a commando get's effected? Wheres thier hasmat suits? their trainning? Cause your one commando turning and desamating your own army is just plain not fun to watch.... Send me a PM if you guys do know of a mod!
