Download the file, then use a program like winrar to extract the folders.

move those extracted files into C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Documents\My Games\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion\Mods-Rebellion v1.82

After that you have to use the Large address aware program (its in the download) on the sins rebellion.exe which will be in.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion

to turn it on and off, you have to use the enabledMods.txt file in the mod 1.82 folder, DO NOT TURN IT OFF IN GAME!

Then it should work.

I disagree, the only ships that speed and maneuverability would actually mean anything would likely be to small to damage most larger Star Wars ships.

I mean a Negh'Var is 682 meters long (according to its specs.) and and Imperial II class is 1,600 meters long, over double its length and coated in dakka!

Also not having lasers often in Star Trek doesn't suddenly make them useless. :P

In terms of what one is better to watch its a matter of opinion. But if it were to be a sins mod, Star Trek would get destroyed.

That isn't how the hotfix works, you drag the hotfix files into the armada 3 folder and replace them, they aren't separate things. :P

Unfortunately from what I know there isn't a way (its something to do with the sins engine.)

However there are a few ships that have fleet cloak abilities. :)

In order for a ship to be assimilated it has to have its health reach zero while the ability is active upon it. (same with all boarding abilities.)

Otherwise it just does general DPS. :)
