I play video games, occasionally mod them. I am decent with Photoshop, Paint.NET and trained in Autodesk Inventor. Currently a Mechanical Eng. student.
The glitch is to do with spawn timings. I will have to take a look into it.
Fixing that tonight!
It takes a while to load up every time you enter a new level. It happened to me also.
No, I'm going to do some investigating into that crash, I'll see what can be done to fix it...
Whoa, you got anymore specific details? There must be some reason for this...
v1.2.3 is up awaiting admin authorization.
Nice progress Didjay, your work is very professional and is much appreciated. Will this mod redo; the weapon models, textures and sounds and extend the ambient audio?
If you want I could help you and make an installer for this mod when you release it?
Hang in there, the update is still in development. I've got a day off today so I'm going to go flat out on it :). I'll post a preperation article for you guys illustrating "whats new in 1.2.3"
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
FFCS is the sequal to this mod, there will also be an FF mod for Call of Pripyat...
Hi, could you possibly send us the a full crash report? If I could get that, I'll fix it and upload a hotfix right now, as well as integrate it into the next update. Coming soon :)
Ordering it next month when I get the last amount of cash needed, for the time being I have overclocked my 9600 with impressive results,
• Core clock (Over-Clocked by 120mhz)
• Memory clock (Over-Clocked by 45mhz)
• Shader clock (Over-Clocked by 30mhz)
Sound right to you?
Nice update, I used google translate to translate your blog into english and it's actually correctly translated: Translate.google.co.za
I like the idea of a unique mainmenu ;). I also really like the graphics, it seriously look insane! Best of luck!
Thanks, I'm sorry about all of this. Anyone who would like to continue development will be given the moddb page as well as all other resources we used on this project. If anyone would like to continue it send me a pm...
We're planning that...
The spawns are randomized. Have you seen any "seva" suit duty, I integrated them in an attempt to stop the constant spam of clones. Later I plan to have a unqiue texture for every single NPC loadout in the game. Also bring in some new suits ;)
I have improved my avatar, you should notice XD. Hey I've finalised on my grpahics card - MSI Nvidia GTX 460. I just don't trust ATI XD. I've always been using nvidia. (Problably won't change)
That's for you to decide, Clear Sky complete offers a fantastically refined original experience. Whereas FF will offer an altered original experience, still keeping the original game in mind though ;), best thing is to try both of them and see which one works for you ;)... I do not rate my own mods against others...
Because the AI are "smarter", the mercs go beyond their scripted boundaries. For anyone else who can't find them. Just keep looking...
Yoh, but thats mobile internet right? In comparison with United States DSL lines, South Africa's lines suck :), except if you are dirty rich and can afford a R1200 8mb line...
Sorry for my late reply. :)
Ok, I presume you run the game on dx10? If so then reduce SSAO to medium - the new shaders are designed to make medium look like it's on high, so high will seriously rape any system. Also put sun-rays onto medium (same story as SSAO).
Bring vision distance, Lighting distance & object detail down to 75%. Everthing else should be on high, (Textures etc) also you can put on Wet surfaces, depth of field, Soft water and volumetric light etc.
What resolution are you running the game on? Rather go to your max res with no anti-aliasing...
Overall you just need to adjust your visual settings to accomadate the enhancements. This mod does have many photo-realistic textures which can indulge most of the available video memory...
refer to the tweak guide for information on finetuning Clear Sky,
What configuration are you running? (Graphics Card, CPU, RAM)
The zipped release will be available soon.
I have tested and there have been plenty of the "bulat" suit duty, in 1.2.2 I have also restored the duty seva suit. Only for NPC's at the moment...
That trailer was designed to showcase 'environments' ;)
Thanks guys, once 1.22 is up I'm going to finish up FF-Soc and then begin work on Faction Fronts: Call of Pripyat after that i'm going to start work on FFCS 1.3 etc... Alot of work ahead of me... :D
You can check out "whats new" in 1.2.2: Moddb.com
No, the two mods will conflict.
