I have improved my avatar, you should notice XD. Hey I've finalised on my grpahics card - MSI Nvidia GTX 460. I just don't trust ATI XD. I've always been using nvidia. (Problably won't change)
Have you got any stack traces that could identify why the problem is occurring? Refer to the "Bug reports" header for info on how to submit a proper bug report...

The spawns are randomized. Have you seen any "seva" suit duty, I integrated them in an attempt to stop the constant spam of clones. Later I plan to have a unqiue texture for every single NPC loadout in the game. Also bring in some new suits ;)
That's for you to decide, Clear Sky complete offers a fantastically refined original experience. Whereas FF will offer an altered original experience, still keeping the original game in mind though ;), best thing is to try both of them and see which one works for you ;)... I do not rate my own mods against others...
Because the AI are "smarter", the mercs go beyond their scripted boundaries. For anyone else who can't find them. Just keep looking...

Ok, I presume you run the game on dx10? If so then reduce SSAO to medium - the new shaders are designed to make medium look like it's on high, so high will seriously rape any system. Also put sun-rays onto medium (same story as SSAO).
Bring vision distance, Lighting distance & object detail down to 75%. Everthing else should be on high, (Textures etc) also you can put on Wet surfaces, depth of field, Soft water and volumetric light etc.
What resolution are you running the game on? Rather go to your max res with no anti-aliasing...
Overall you just need to adjust your visual settings to accomadate the enhancements. This mod does have many photo-realistic textures which can indulge most of the available video memory...

I have tested and there have been plenty of the "bulat" suit duty, in 1.2.2 I have also restored the duty seva suit. Only for NPC's at the moment...

Regarding that crash? Follow the guide in this thread Moddb.com on how to attain logs.
The crash is related to the files of the previous version, Because you using the save games from v1.2 alpha it's causing the crash... (The data is permanently bound with your save with every new game.) So that faulty line of code is now stuck with that save. Those incompatible files were removed in 1.21. However Simply removing the files does not immediately stop the crash a new game is also required. I have recently tested it on a steam version , no crash on 1.2.1 at the anomaly. I'm guessing that something from v1.2 alpha was left behind.
1.2.2 will be up this Friday/Saturday. 1.2.2 will require a new game for the "LAST" time, further updates will automatically apply :D.

• In v1.2.2 binoculars are fixed.
• I mostly fixed the default Faction Wars, The massive faction wars update will be done a bit later.
• Not sure about the blowouts

Removing the textures will be a painstakingly hard and long activity. What I recommend you do is disable the advanced shaders.
Go to your S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Root directory.
• Enter the "gamedata" folder
• Rename the folder titled "shaders" to "Shaders_old"
• Try out the game.
