Well so far I have been really disappointed with it. They released the second set of DLC but have not been tending to the issues with it. The game has been out since November last year and they have still not made a significant effort to crunch down on these problems. They created a whole lot of hype about Battlefield 4 but when it was time to deliver it was a serious flop - Now they have my money and all I can do is complain about it...

Some constructive criticism: The Hud is a massive let down. It looks like some sort of graphical texture glitch. It would be far better to go with something cleaner and less crammed / confusing.
I don't normally suggest critique but I am genuinely hoping that you plan to change this. This is a fantastic mod. The visuals are very unique and the attention to detail is impressive. But the interface in it's current form does not compliment such a statement.

All weapons will operate by a new set of recoil parameters and be more challenging to handle in combat.
In a nutshell, no more praying and spraying with stock weapons that have not been significantly upgraded specifically for better handling. Single shot will also play more of a role in ranged encounters.

It really depends on the time of year. If you want plants to be dead and brown then install AN2 over the cskies installation. Selecting the 'dead' option for everything in the installer.

I completely agree. That is why we are making sure that all the new kit will have upgrades. You will also find upgraded weaponry will perform far more significantly than standard gear.
This is because unlike vanilla, most stock weapons in Cskies are actually accurate, and deal decent damage. Bullet speed, RPM and other miscellaneous details have also been changed to values that are the same as in the real world. So when upgraded, weapons have decent stats upon which to improve.
Also just to add, I personally found that once I found my way around it. CS was by far the easiest stalker to mod.

Performance impact will not be too bad in fact! I have taken measures to ensure good a framerate on all PC's with some tweaking it will be running perfectly with no hiccups, and look great at the same time!
The current build I am working with is 0.1.5 but this test fix will work with 0.1.4

This is apparently a something controlled deep in the engine. Modders have limited resources to edit such files and largely it is impossible. Unless we can get the correct tools and documentation.

This works from percentages, the script takes all available money on an NPC and randomizes 1 - 4% of it on death. At the moment you will get 50 - 300ru between different groups, depending on the money they are given in .xml
I prefer it this way and do not plan on changing it.

120 shots a minute, for balance sake we will reduce the damage. But the accuracy still remains perfect. You can easily one shot a renegade from 300 meters with the EM-2 & EM-1
Next time I will test it at their base. Not going lie though. I was cheating and these duty guys still put up one hell of a fight.

I never painted a base new texture over this one, I only overlayed some general grunge then. Then played around with the tones & materials a bit.

The .xml method is extremely flawed and ineffective, a script is the only proper way to implement this system without any bugs or issues.
What are you talking about? The stability feature listed there is an umbrella term which refers to the SRP Mod 1.01 and a compilation of our own bug fixes to the games code.

The punk\skinhead skins will be exclusive to the bandits and Renegades. What we are trying to do here is add something new. Think about it; a scavenging human scumbag with anarchist mentality who has just entered the zone - Operating within a gang. It's something different instead of the Default GSC rookie texture with a camo jacket and a few insignia's.
We are also going to make rookies with hoodies, windbreakers, cargo pants etc, like they had just entered the zone.

This development build is hacked. So the player is stronger, immune to radiation etc, you can sprint super fast jump super high, it makes testing easier, well in some cases :)

It's not an ak74 it's a make do version of a kalash and I got it from FPS banana. I had to edit the model & textures a bit but otherwise it works great. Now that I have figured out the upgrade system coding all the new weapons will have upgrade schemes :)

As far as I can tell, this model and it's texture were made by djxa Production.
Just to settle this. Faction Fronts was extended to Clear Sky and CoP, by request of users. We are not in any competive league with the "Stalker Complete Series"
The crash is related to the files of the previous version, Because you using the save games from v1.2 alpha it's causing the crash... (The data is permanently bound with your save with every new game.) So that faulty line of code is now stuck with that save. Those incompatible files were removed in 1.21. However Simply removing the files does not immediately stop the crash a new game is also required. I have recently tested it on a steam version , no crash on 1.2.1 at the anomaly. I'm guessing that something from v1.2 alpha was left behind.
1.2.2 will be up this Friday/Saturday. 1.2.2 will require a new game for the "LAST" time, further updates will automatically apply :D.

No, besides frame rate monitoring using my own system and the system of co-developers no major research was done. The setup I am running now can run the game at an average of about 70fps with the lowest being about 30fps and highest peaking to around 100fps @ 1680x1050 with almost everything on Maximum, DX10, no MSAA & No SSAO.

The system reqs were put into the flash front as a point of reference for anyone who was not sure what sort of hardware runs the mod nicely and on decent settings. The extreme specs stand as a reference to those who would like to run the mod at a stupiously high framerate @ 2560x1600 ; 4X MSAA ; High SSAO and Sun Rays and Injected sweetFX filter with SMAA.
Which I am sure someone out there may want to do...

I do prefer an environment that looks like it is actually alive. It also gives a more accurate portrayal of how Pripyat looks during the summer and spring months. The only time it would be dead would be during winter when there would be snow everywhere.

Hi, this sounds like what I like to call the 'Save Overflow issue'
Basically the game crashes the moment you save, after discovering a lot of stashes on a big level such as the swamps and playing quite a while it occurs. I believe it is the tracking of the items in the stashes etc. I do not know of any fix for it and from what I understand it's something with the engine limitations.
You will be able to load your save and continue playing without hassle. I recommend you try leave the swamps asap. Also space your saves sparingly and make use of the Esc-S smart save function.
Easily. Just change the Renderer to 'Static Lighting DX 8' in the video options. You can use the same files for the cfg_load settings.ltx

Hi there, I tested the mod on my rig for over 10 hours with no crashes. What exactly happens? If it's a sudden black screen, it is most likely hardware / driver related.
Everyone I apologize for my mistake, I understand I have made a mistake with the installation steps. When you load the mod config, you must type cfg_load settings.ltx I understand I specified it as setting.ltx, which is wrong. Please spread the word!
With regard to Black Screen Crashes, try using DX 10 Renderer. It is really difficult to deduce what exactly is causing this issue. The mod was tested on the DX 10 Renderer using a GTX 560 Ti 1gb with factory overclock.
Check that the you extracted the ltx file correctly and that you type in the command correctly.
