If you need a crack shot, pilot, or just a good old fashioned Sci-Fi brainiac, gimme a call!
Huh! Neat! Never would've thought of those in this capacity, but they suddenly make more sense!
Mind if I write that down? That's gold!
Check again, smart-guy. The last news update was JAN 2013!
Unless some schmuck takes the all of 60 seconds to step up and say otherwise, IT'S DEAD!
Nice to see you scrape yourself off of that bus grille.
Always good to see a quality mod rise from the dead...
Just don't come near me with those teeth! I have a shotgun!
Looks like a Regula or stardock-type station fused with a Cardassian facility, with some additions and changes.
Now all they need is automation. Binding a sequence of commands and constraints to a button press, then you can have "Load Torpedo", "Open Doors", "Fire", and "Reload", etc.
This would be my response to Mr. "I will report you": Youtu.be
If you'd pay frakking attention, you'd see he was wearing a reentry pack (as ludicrous as that sounds), you can see it pretty plainly shortly before he gets thrown off the ship.
Hell, the fighter's computer even mentions that Jorge disengaged said pack before going on his little spacewalk.
Perhaps me means to dull or wear the colors a bit, it looks too clean on that grungy gunship.
Wow... That looks phenomenal next to the vanilla models/textures. You wouldn't happen to be working on a graphical rework of the base game, would you?
Because the metallic "wear" on the armor just looks awful in base game.
The drum beat overlaying "Walk" seems a bit clunky...
Maybe shift one of the tracks a few beats or something to make it mesh a little better, I don't know.
Or it could be a simple as toning down the volume on the drums so it's more supporting the melody, rather than dominating it. Like making a fantastic steak then dousing it in some kinda sauce, you can, you just gotta find a balance.
More restating a general rule that all too few people follow nowadays...
And Trip-A publishers wonder why sales have been in decline...
Feature creep... Focus on making the game good, *then* go for the frilly bits.
No signs of life...
Unless the PIC (Person in Charge) posts otherwise. I say the mod's dead. Too bad. Was looking forward to decently scaled Acclamators.
Site needs a "User declare mod dead" button so we don't have these necrotic pages floating around...
Needs more signs of life. The occasional screenshot implies a cursory glance at the site, at best. Give us a full on showcase or something! Show us some of the new units in action!
To quote a well known super-(yeah, right)-villian: "Well throw me a freakin' bone here, Scott!"
This is based on the fact that besides the occasional batch of screens, we've only got a news update from March!
The DC-17 ICWS (Inter-Changeable Weapon System). Probably THE most badass gun in the Republic arsenal. Props to you guys!
Only thing missing is a projector or two, so one can go Wizard of Oz on someone's ***!
Only half-baked? Back in the oven with them!
(Ohgod That was in terrible taste, pleasedontkillme)
I apologize, my statement about the DS2 sprite was rather vague.
What I mean is that it seems excessively bright, you *know* it's a sprite layered on top and not a part of the original background, or a large object in the distance. Is it a placeholder or something?
PS: Props on the cockpit, top-shelf! Looks a wee-bit misaligned, though, might just be me...
That was pretty fricken awesome!
Throw on some polish, maybe do something about that DS2 sprite.
The battle itself kinda bugs me, though...
Yes, I know that having some defenders at the DS2 makes more sense than none at all, but the film (And the book, I think, memory's kinda fuzzy on that.) showed no initial engagement like this (cover-story was that the fleet was sent elsewhere to intercept the rebels, when they were really poised behind the moon to ambush the attack.), so I find myself a bit conflicted.
Well, on the news post I asked to see more ice, and that's precisely what I got. Top-shelf, people!
But seeing those weapons laying on/against those walls/crates makes me wonder if those are interactive, or just for scenery. You know, ready at a moment's notice.
Overall, a good batch of changes.
Color schemes are no longer so out-of-place, still a little too vivid for me. Dim the colors a bit, maybe throw a thin layer of grime on top, make it look like they've seen action.
Might also want to do something about the teal/cyan on the adept.
Now hear this. Now hear this.
You did raise a good point, a significant drop in "Iteration time" would only help...
All I ask is that there at least be an obituary posting... You know, in case he got hit by a bus or something?
Yes, and I prefer it for the quicker load times, better stability, Simplicity of equipment and maintenance, and not paddling my backside with the fervor of an S&M fanatic at every. single. opportunity.
Do I wish: That I couldn't just raid a zombie zone and sell all the junk. Yes, within reason.
Do I wish: That some things were a bit more difficult to acquire, and thus feel more accomplished in doing so? Yes, within reason.
Do I wish: That I didn't start with a higher-end suit and equipment at the start of the game? Yes, within reason.
Do I wish: That anomalies were nastier and posed a more serious threat? Yes, within reason.
Do I think the rules are inconsistent? Not really, (mostly) fair, but excessively harsh.
Key argument I'm trying to make: "Within reason"!
I don't sense much reason with the increase in harshness with this mod. It just seems needlessly punishing for the sake of being needlessly punishing.
What I think the mod lacks is a key topic later in the video, giving the player access to enough tools to come up with a solution and "Complex =/= Difficult".
While I do love the extra features put in. I can't enjoy things to the fullest if I can't even get withing ******* distance of making use of them...
While I can enjoy and applaud what has been attempted here, when I have profanity-inducing difficulty keeping myself supplied, let alone upgrading to any equipment worth a damn, I don't consider myself having a good time.
Between the gamplay aspects reaching near-trollish levels of difficulty, and the technical aspects flipping me a middle finger with it crashing for no reason whatsoever at random intervals, the mod is coming off.
Give it an overhaul and get back to me.
Preferably after seeing this video a dozen or so times:

Looks good guys, hope to see more ice with the next update.
This looks great! Moreso when considering the limitations of the engine!
