An aspiring author currently working on the fictional episodic literary work: "The Adventures of the Starship Corvus" and a debut novel, as yet untitled.
I must say it looks somewhat similar to the Beast from Cataclysm. I don't suppose that's what it is? If so, I will be most thrilled, the Beast is my favorite villain from the series!
Very nice, very nice. The entire concept of this game looks fascinating!
This looks most promising indeed! And may I say, as an audiophile, that your music is particularly excellent!
I hate to criticize, but as a grammar freak, it falls upon me to point out that "deliverence" is spelled "deliverance". Of course, if you meant to misspell it on purpose, please ignore me and carry on!
And just so I'm not completely negative, the idea sounds promising. Here's hoping it comes to fruition!
Hmm, quite a lovely background. Can't wait for the next release!
Alright, then, just thought I'd ask. Thanks for the quick response.
As for Spring, yes, I have tried practically everything to get it to work, but no luck so far. Perhaps I'll try again on the next build of my computer.
In any case, thanks for the help, and keep up the good work!
I hate to add to the complaints, but is there any chance you might port the game to another engine sometime in the future? I have downloaded Spring three separate times over the past couple of years, and I even downloaded it just to play this game, but never has it worked on any configuration of my computer.
On a more positive note, however, may I say this game looks downright amazing! I'd love to try it out!
Ah, curses. Well, here's hoping! At any rate, good luck to you in whatever you do next in this mod!
Is this really a MekTek development? I haven't seen anything on your official site. In either case, I am most ecstatic for this to be released!
I have the Steam version and it does work quite well.
A marvelous mod all around and I hate to complain about it, however, I must ask whether there will ever be a multiplayer option? Or, if multiplayer is already available, how would I go about activating it? Don't get me wrong, this mod is quite awesome on singleplayer, but it would be fun to play on multiplayer as well.
I have the same problem in WinXP and have yet to find a solution, however, here is a forum which may help you with Win7 concerns.
The asteroid field is downright amazing, particularly for the Freelancer engine. In the words of Darth Vader: "Most impressive." ;)
I am highly impressed with your work, very well done indeed!
Having constructed Morrowind mods in the past with the TES kit, I am utterly astounded that you were able to create such a huge and detailed creation! Well done indeed!
I never cease to be amazed by the amazing detail in your models, particularly considering the fact you are using the (sadly) aging Freelancer engine. Very well done, indeed!
Ah, if only I owned Nexus. Babylon 5 is the best space opera ever made. I applaud you for the creation of this mod!
A unique and original concept blended with potentially fun gameplay...this is a combination far too rare these days. I applaud you and your work!
Freespace (at least, what I've played of it) and Freelancer both have their strengths and weaknesses. For example, Freespace is slightly older and therefore cannot match the graphical qualities of Freelancer. However, Freespace does seem to be a bit more realistic in terms of actual spaceflight as it is possible to drift and strafe very much like a spaceship might do. Freelancer, although its flying model is more like an aircraft, wins out for its sheer complexity. There are enormous systems with hidden bases and interesting surprises to discover. There are nearly 150 different factions all with their own agendas, likes, and dislikes. There is an astounding number of weapons and equipment in game and a goodly number of ships (even more with the variety of mods). Now, keep in mind that I have only played the Babylon Project version of Freespace 2, so I'm not in the best position to comment on that game itself. However, judging from my experience with it, I must say that Freelancer wins hands down. If you have not played it, I very highly recommend you do so!
Tell me, are you planning on going all out on the extraneous player experience? (Such as forums, player factions, and the like) Also, do you plan on making the official server roleplay? Finally, in a local multiplayer match, will we be able to play in some sort of PVP area, or will we need to go through and earn money and get ships the hard way? (I apologize if this is listed somewhere else or a repeat)
May I also say that I am extremely impressed by your work. Nowhere else have I ever seen such detailed material in a Freelancer mod. Well done!
If I may offer some encouragement, Freelancer is certainly the best space engine I have ever come across. All others are much too inflexible. However, you really should petition Microsoft for the source code (or whatever it is you need to create your own game) and create your own game. Personally, I would be very willing to pay money for such a thing!
I must say I was quite depressed to hear the Sands of Time had been cancelled. But seeing your work here has changed my mind, this project looks most immensely interesting. I look forward to the release!
I am quite impressed! Can't wait to see it textured and in-game!
May I say that this game looks particularly excellent! I will watch this with great interest.
I hate to be stickler on proper nouns, however, it will bother me if I don't let someone know. Thus, for anyone who has cared to read this far, the name of the opening song is in fact "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi" (Fortune, Empress of the World)
First off, is this game dead? If not, is it free? If so, where can I get it?
May I just say thanks for the awesome mod! You have my vote!
Although I'm sure it's been said before, this is indeed the best mod ever made for Homeworld 2. I am most ecstatic to hear that campaign gameplay is forthcoming. And may I say well done, well done indeed!
If I may simply add my support, I love Escape Velocity Nova and consider it one of the best 2D games out there. Keep up the grand work!
A most interesting idea, I do like it indeed. What, precisely, is its function?
