An aspiring author currently working on the fictional episodic literary work: "The Adventures of the Starship Corvus" and a debut novel, as yet untitled.
ANOTHER EDIT--I have now tried repairing the installation and searching through a few game files, but still nothing. I am starting to grow rather desperate. Oh, and a few stats that may be of note:
I have Crysis, the Steam version, on a 64 bit Windows 7 machine, but installed in the Program Files (x86) folder.
I highly doubt this is a hardware-related problem, but as for software, I do have AVG Antivirus installed. Other than that, I cannot think of anything else that might cause problems.
May I say that this is an absolutely marvelous mod, among the best I have ever played! Excellent work indeed, particularly for a beta!
Now, there is one problem which I hope can be addressed. You see, I prefer to host my own LAN server, however, whenever I do this, the players start out with 0 cash. Furthermore, when we destroy each other (I assume that's how one earns cash), no cash is earned.
While it is fun to simply jump around in battle armor, I would very much prefer to try out the Mechs and other vehicles. If there is a simple way to fix this, I would be much obliged if you could let me know.
EDIT--Note that I have fiddled with nearly all the settings in the 'Configure' dialog in the launcher. I have also changed the 'PP Income Scale' to a variety of different numbers, but to no avail. Again, any help is greatly appreciated.
I concur, a most excellent job!
Most exciting, I must say, to finally have the Tmat race recognized in a Homeworld mod. And your models, thus far, are excellent!
Hmm, now this I like quite a bit indeed. Excellent work!
Quite exciting, the siege cannon is an astounding weapon and, judging from this picture, it looks as though you've done an excellent job resurrecting it!
Most terrifying indeed! Can't wait for the release!
I would not presume to think that you require anything further, and this is already an absolutely brilliant mod, so please, do not misconstrue my intent. However, I was wondering if you had seen this:
I do not know whether you would like to add more ships nor is it my opinion that more ships are necessary; but this site is an interesting database nonetheless and could potentially be a great resource.
May I say, once more, that this is among the best mods I have seen for any game! Keep up the good work!
Very nice, a perfect blend of sci-fi and modern weaponry, if I may say so.
Ah, it is too bad that they are not flyable, but still, the way in which they are used sounds fun.
I was unaware you were that close to a release, I greatly look forward to the demo!
Forgive me if this has been posted before, but may I ask whether you will include player-flyable capital ships?
Otherwise, this game looks quite astounding, very well done indeed!
The concept sounds interesting, but may I humbly recommend that you post more information ASAP.
May I also say that your ship design thus far is excellent! I'm not usually a fan of top-down 2D games, but I look forward to seeing more.
Wonderful! I haven't seen Vjun since Jedi Academy, very excited for the Warband release!
A lovely ship indeed. Excellent work, as always!
One of my favorite ships from the original game, I am very glad to see it here!
Just out of mere curiosity, will these mercenaries be available for hire to any of the other races?
Be that the case or not, this is a beautiful piece of work and I can't wait to see it in the next release!
Glad to hear this mod is still alive. I eagerly look forward to your next release!
Excellent work! Downloading at once!
Now that will be quite fun indeed! Superb work!
Ah, I see, then I look forward most ecstatically to the day it is released!
This sounds very fun indeed and I greatly look forward to it!
I'm not sure whether this has been asked before, but will there ever be a multiplayer version? Don't get me wrong, this is the most fantastic mod ever made for Nexus and I am utterly astonished with the quality of your work! However, multiplayer, even if only over LAN, would certainly add to the experience.
In either case, you have done a magnificent job! Keep up the good work!
Ah, I see. To Codeuser and Enceladus, I apologize for my presumption, but I was a bit angry and I did not notice the description. To Sushi, I am thrilled to hear that you and the Thrawn's Revenge developers will be teaming up! These two mods are among the best I have ever seen for any game and I eagerly await seeing more of the fruits of this collaboration!
Once again, I offer my sincere apologies to everyone involved.
Now, I have a question, this exact model was created less than a week ago by the Freeworlds: Tides of War team (look it up in their images section). So who stole from who? Or are you affiliated? I'm not trying to be a jerk, and I love your mod, but I would hate to see Tides of War ripped off.
This is astonishingly beautiful! Here's hoping the game comes to fruition!
Quite lovely indeed.
I just finished watching the Battlestar Galactica series and I must say that this looks equally magnificent!
I am still amazed that you did this with the Freelancer engine. Very well done indeed, can't wait for it to be released!
Good, good, I have been very impressed with your work in the past, particularly the Mekpaks for Mercs. Keep up the good work!
Very nice, very nice! I must say this is one of my favorite Homeworld mods.
I must say that I never would have believed the Freelancer engine capable of something like this. Very well done indeed!
Now this is one hell of an epic wallpaper. ;-)
Now that's pretty.
The BSOD is never fun, but I rather doubt it's related strictly to War Thunder. I'd run chkdsk on your next startup and maybe a malware scan. That's about the limit of my technical expertise, I'm afraid.
And yet again I submit that ModDB needs a 'like' or 'favorite' button. A magnificent shot of a magnificent vehicle.
Hmm, Wheatley got a facelift after leaving Earth.
Good to hear you're still around, looking forward to the release!
Oh, come now, it always helps negotiations when your side has a planet-destroying ship sitting in orbit. ;)
Oh? I guess I should learn to use Google. Thanks, though!
Impressive stuff, I especially look forward to driving that Pz III.
Well done indeed!
Hey, I have this song. ;)
Nice trailer, I might be inclined to reinstall Crossfire and check this out.
Nice! This looks like fun to drive. A spectacular model!
Now this is exciting! I am very glad to see you are still up and running. Already looking forward to the release!
Ah, one of the better ships from the Star Wars universe, in my not-so-humble opinion. Your model is magnificent!
Great news indeed! Quite exciting to see where this mod will go next!
Now that's impressive.
An excellent idea, well done indeed!
Agreed. Any chance of releasing a downloadable version?
My good Mathis, are any of the Homeworld nebula skyboxes realistic? Personally, though I can't say I've ever cared for pastels, I think it is quite stunning. Well done indeed!
Very nice, I've always had a penchant for halftracks, and this is the best I've seen yet. Well done indeed!
Magnificent indeed! If I may ask, how many mech models do you plan on creating for this title?
*edit* (See my avatar for ideas). ;)
I never met a flight sim I didn't like and this one looks particularly impressive. Well done indeed!
I must say, I am quite excited to hear about new arenas! Not that the old ones are bad, mind you, but the more variety the better, in my ever-so-humble opinion.
Ah, very nice. Organic vessels/stations are few and far between, I heartily give you two thumbs up for the idea!
Quite beautiful, if I may say so myself.
Ah, I do recall this scene. Absolutely lovely to see it redone with more advanced graphics. I heartily agree with Paxton's statements!
I must say it looks somewhat similar to the Beast from Cataclysm. I don't suppose that's what it is? If so, I will be most thrilled, the Beast is my favorite villain from the series!
The asteroid field is downright amazing, particularly for the Freelancer engine. In the words of Darth Vader: "Most impressive." ;)
I am quite impressed! Can't wait to see it textured and in-game!
Although I'm sure it's been said before, this is indeed the best mod ever made for Homeworld 2. I am most ecstatic to hear that campaign gameplay is forthcoming. And may I say well done, well done indeed!
A most interesting idea, I do like it indeed. What, precisely, is its function?
Might you have any idea when the beta will be released? I eagerly await news of your progress.
