when will the next version be released? im looking forward to playing this again, but I want to wait for the patch before starting over. From what I gather it will be the patch that is polished and clean.

I know where to shoot, and I should be able to effectively utilize a hunting shotgun against a trenchcoat bandit at 30 meters, but the spread is rediculous. All I want is for spread to return to 2.01 values. (And number of projectiles, if MDT still intends to call buckshot buckshot, and not birdshot, like how it behaves now. Actually even birdshot has more effective range irl than misery buck.)

I honestly agree that buckshot needs a rework. 5-10 effective range is neither realistic or fun. One of the few things I explicitly dislike about 2.02.

Now with mutant hunting being even crappier and artifact hunting how it is now, the best way to make money is still hunting people. Even less of a contest than before in my opinion. Also really dislike the buckshot changes. Buckshot is very effective at even 25 yards, and people can get results much past that. Maybe from a sawn off you would have the ridiculous spread. But from a standard hunting shotgun accuracy is very good. Very disappointing and gamey change. Overall liked balance of 2.01 best so far.

Well the house at the dock cranes works great. If you did the mission and it is unlocked. Also the controller cave works too.

Stalker I reccomend that you play vanilla before misery.

While this comment is unnecessarily rude, he has a point. The mod is currently in an unplayable state for many and a very buggy one for others. I can't fathom how so many bugs got past "extensive closed beta testing." I like many others am very disappointed, but i am hopeful about what this (late) patch will bring.

I find the lack of communication from the team to fans to be very irritating. There is obviously a lot of questions that need answers but it seems like the entire team had been taking a break for the past couple days, right when the community needs them most.

I hope we get patch notes when the patch arrives

Just watched this vid concerning the head shots in the mod. Very humorous. Probably will be but a fading memory with this new patch though.

Make me equal to everyone else, I don't care if it takes one hits or two to kill me as long as a bandit wearing the same thing dies to the same amount of damage. Unfortunately in the mods current state npcs take something like 50 percent of the bullet damage of the actor. This is not fair and seems like an inelegant approach to an otherwise very solid and well made (if untested) mod.

Why is it that my gun jams really often (at least once a mag) on about 40 percent condition when I have yet to see a NPC have a jam when they shoot streams of hundreds of bullets downrange with a 20 percent cnd piece of crap. and why does ALMOST every gun come unloaded, even when they had no chance to fire a shot?

Hello miseryholics and stalkerphiles! Just wondering what FOV you recommend for the impending MISERY 2 game. Too small and iron sights on some guns causes the screen to zoom out. Too large and it looks awkward. (Possibly iron sights are fixed, who knows) Just wondering what the best one is to play on for the optimal visual experience. Im really excited.

P.S. I second the call for a "template" on how to make the game look its absolute best. ie. what directX setting to use ect. Thanks!
