We decide the importance we give to things. We decide what is important to us.

We decide if we care about things being a certain way, and if we do care about it and have the possibility to change it, then it's up to us to decide if we are willing to do so.
If we do care about it and cannot change it, then it's up to us to decide if we are willing to try and change it anyway, or if we are willing to accept it as it is.

The concept of "caring about a fictional character" in a book or a movie or a video game or the concept of "caring about the past". Caring about historical characters we have all heard of but have never met, or even caring about the past of our race, our civilization or our religion.
Does it directly affect us to know that our ancestors were enslaved by this or that civilization?
Does it directly affect us that our ancestors did this or that in the name of this or that religion?
Do we hold a grudge at the descendants of said civilization TODAY because of it?
Does it matter to us directly?

Will we let what a group of people we have never met has done to another group of people we have never met dictate how we live our lives? We decide whether we care or not, and that is part of what defines us. It's something we must all think about, and not simply take for granted.

What if I told you that if things had been slightly different, your best friend would have killed you. Would you still consider him your best friend?

Would "what could have been" matter more to you than "what is"?

Really. You had to ask that. As a matter of fact, yes, he's also working on another mod besides Underhell that he's not talking about. If you mean if he has done any other mods, check out Smod troopers, I believe it's called. Sorry, but really.

Well, that was a great trailer. Until I read the end. My reaction? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo god dammit. No Christmas release. Still, in Valve fashion, its better to be late with a game that's great forever then a game on time that sucks. Keep up the great work. The script sounds very interesting and I cant wait to see if psychological horror comes into play here.

Hello again Mxthe. I was curious to know what your favorite genre of music is? And which game has your favorite music in it? As well, how do I contact Tom Stoffel? I wanted to also ask him some music related questions. Thanks.
P.S. I thought that this question would be more suited for this page then the WCS forums.

I appreciate all genres of music, it depends of my mood at the time, but if I had to pick I would say Electro Orchestra.

Immediate Music, ES:Posthumus and Two Steps From Hell.

I am also a great fan of movie scores, especially when composed by James Newton Howard, Hans Zimmer, Alan Silvestri, Harry Gregson Williams ect...

As for Tom Stoffel, you can contact him via his official website over at Tomstoffel.com

Not that I do not appreciate questions about the mod, I just think it would be better to post the questions where everyone can see them and read the answers more obviously than on my personal page, like on the Official Underhell Forums ?

Forums.wecreatestuff.com

Thanks

EDIT: I'm sorry, but I forgot to ask something that's been bugging me. Will events like taking down The Assassin, which can end with you losing him or killing him, have any future affects? And once you have completed the Proluge and enter Jake's Dreams, you can either proceed to the next chapter or enter the 4 dream rooms. Will skipping the Dreams only make you skip the back story or will it have a greater effect too. I know that you wont give out out any spoilers, but if "you know who" is dead, why is there no body? Sorry for this other comment but thanks for reading it too.

Most scenes with multiple outcomes will have direct repercussions, such as an immediate event following that outcome.

However some scenes will carry the repercussions throughout in the future.

The dreams are not mandatory, if you play through them you might understand some facts better, but they are not needed to understand the main story, since the dreams are supposed to be one of the most unsettling and scary parts of the game, I thought it would be interesting not to force them onto the player.

Some people just can't play through these sequences...

The fact that there is no body could be simply that he was propelled far away from the crash, or that he was incinerated, or maybe he is just not dead.

I won't specify which it is.
