We decide the importance we give to things. We decide what is important to us.

We decide if we care about things being a certain way, and if we do care about it and have the possibility to change it, then it's up to us to decide if we are willing to do so.
If we do care about it and cannot change it, then it's up to us to decide if we are willing to try and change it anyway, or if we are willing to accept it as it is.

The concept of "caring about a fictional character" in a book or a movie or a video game or the concept of "caring about the past". Caring about historical characters we have all heard of but have never met, or even caring about the past of our race, our civilization or our religion.
Does it directly affect us to know that our ancestors were enslaved by this or that civilization?
Does it directly affect us that our ancestors did this or that in the name of this or that religion?
Do we hold a grudge at the descendants of said civilization TODAY because of it?
Does it matter to us directly?

Will we let what a group of people we have never met has done to another group of people we have never met dictate how we live our lives? We decide whether we care or not, and that is part of what defines us. It's something we must all think about, and not simply take for granted.

What if I told you that if things had been slightly different, your best friend would have killed you. Would you still consider him your best friend?

Would "what could have been" matter more to you than "what is"?

Hi I really want to play this mod, but every time i launch it, It either closes right away, or the library client wont load.
I'm repairing steam right now to see if this is the problem.
Any ideas to fix it?

There's a part in UH where your leg is hurt and you can't kick (but you can still jump...). Maybe in the future a punching option could be implemented. Not necessarily as powerful as kicking, but maybe enough to at least knock enemies onto there backside for moment to buy a couple of seconds to properly shut a closet door. Anyways, this is absolutely the best HL2 mod ever. Totally worth the wait, XMas came early for many of us. Thanks Mxthe!

That would be a cool feature, like, it could work if you made it take alot of stamina and never kill the zombies, problem is it'd take time to implement, and it may retract the scare factor (which admittedly was pretty high) in those encounters.

Came up with an idea I think itll be good:
using the Underhell features (advanced AI, inventory and endurence) it would be very easy to make another mod wich would be a dayz like mod
now the only problom with source engine is the map sizes BUT there was another mod (project Z) that spread the map into smaller maps that have loading betwen them, they made it also multiplayer by making the mod have about 4 servers that each one have a diffrent part of the map and when you cross to that part you automaticly connect to the other server. In my opinion its a good idea but if you think its not and dont want to deal with it its ok I am sure you are already busy all over your head.

I think he should (I'm not the one in the position of telling someone what should he do, this is just my opinion) rest now and later continue the work on Underhell because it's simply amazing, I love it's story, it's gameplay, everything... you have lots of DayZ-like games/mods out there, so why another one?

I want to ask you a question about Underhell :) there is that part where you can "lock" 2 security guards in a cell with dead prisoner. And I did it, so later in the game I found a PDA where was a text... something like "when we opened the door, one was dead and the second attacked us"
If you don't do that, what will be written in the PDA?
