I just a non-regular 21 year-old Argentinian :P I have a sharp interest in anything related to science and I love to put my mind into any subject, so beware to start a discussion with me! (chadaFACE would know). well, what else... I've had over 10k visitors to date, so that must mean that I'm quite popular (or so does my ego like to beleive). what else, what else... Oh I almost forgot. I'm a modest mission maker for the game Nexus: The jupiter incident, but I'll expand my horizons sooner than later. I'm currently working in the mod Stargate: War Begins (yeah, you've probably guessed I'm a stargate fan by now) as a mission maker and mild coder, and also trying to finish a damn book I've been writing since I was 12.

I apologize for commenting yet again, but I'm stuck on the Anchorage quest.
When walk to the simulation pod a message says that I have to manually disable the player needs, I go the computer to do so but there's no option to do that.
Any ideas?

It's gone from moddb. The battlestar galactica people took down all galactica mods from moddb. If you want the beta you'll have to pm the devs.

I've stumbled upon a bug, when I reach lvl 9 and I press "continue" the game crashes. However, if I disable the mod I can continue fine, but I loose a lot of hard-earned weapons and items, is there a way to keep some of the items?

It's not something we can fix... several mods depend on resources inherited from the campaign files, which have been modified to allow the new campaign to work.
We are working(and nearly, if not already, done) in a easy to use campaign manager to change between campaigns with ease. It'll be released shortly.

The new campaign is imcopatible with most, if not all, mods. If you want to play a mod (The War Begins beta 11 included) you're going to have to uninstall the campaign and enable the original one.

To do that:
- Rename nexus_00.dat to something like: nexus_00.dat-WarBegins
- Rename nexus_00.dap to something like: nexus_00.dap-WarBegins

and restore the original nexus_00.dat and nexus_00.dat to the main Nexus folder (don't worry about your savegame of the campaign, it will still work when (or if) you re-enable the War Begins campaign).

they are in nexus' main folder. The game can't run withouth them, so they must be there somewhere.

People! Remember to back-up the original nexus_00.dat and nexus_00.dap, otherwise you'd be unable to play the original campaign and it will also make it impossible for you to play most mods out there.

You have to mod a mission, take a look into the ones already scripted, it's not hard to do, but you do need a bit of understanding of the modding language.

Actually, yeah!
After last season's finale I didn't have much hope for this season, but they prove me wrong, it's definately kicking *** with the whole us vs the world thing. Too bad they let kate go... I was starting to like her.
Fortunately Henry is getting a more centric role, which he totally deserves, and they're making Magnus 10x more badass, something I can't complain.

no, it was a bit of a mix up, we forgot to remove the model from the public beta, it's in the mod but if you want to include it you'll need to tinker a bit with a few configuration files...
