Only complaint is that the hammer isn't cocked. Noticed this with the vanilla weapons, feels like I'm carrying around an unloaded weapon. Bothers me so much O.o
Personally think the side to side waddle is over-done, unless the character is as wide as a barn.
Only two things I see wrong: 1. the shells are ejecting from the wrong side. 2. Magically zooms when using the sights.

Ah, some lovely greenery. I am tired of so many mods making the Zone so brown and bland, when in reality the Zone is very colourful :)

Animation is good, but wrong :P With a bolt-action, you pull the bolt back first and THEN take out the mag and put it back in. Well with older rifles anyway, not sure about this one 100%

Had the weirdest dream of Lost Alpha mixed in with a little of Half Life...It was actually amazing, the atmosphere and gameplay, with a weird leveling up system. Now hopefully Lost Alpha can in reality surpass my dreams :P
Don't you realise that all Duty is doing is making the Zone more hostile? It is like a living organism, and Duty a disease. It will fight back if it feels threatened. The Zone can not be destroyed, we may only coexist with it. Freedom forever!

One of the best I'd say, each STALKER mod adds something different. For hardcore gameplay go for Misery, for lots of features go for STALKRSOUP, for the original game design go for Lost Alpha.
Well thanks to Survarium's ******** network system, players with high ping will be killing low-ping players who just managed to reach cover on their end...
That sounds like more than a good enough reason to put off playing until 2.0 is released, as hard as that is! Thanks for the helpful response.
Potentially stupid question: will 2.0 require a new game/save-file?
You should contact some of them to see if they'll let you incorporate animations as seen above for 3.0 or whatever, would really add a layer of immersion. That is the one thing that detracts from STALKER's immersion, clunky actor and NPC animations/movement. Just isn't realistic or sightly.

Well it will be only two things contrasting: the sky and everything on the ground as an indistinguishable sludge.
The reason I find the real Pripyat so beautiful are the green bushes, trees and grass swallowing up the white-washed apartment complexes in the spring. Decay and desolation is a lot prettier than STALKER mods tend to give it credit for.
The weapon add-on would have satisfied me. You can still have used, old and worn guns that don't all look the same. The RPG is a perfect example. So many games these day are either washed-out with too much contrast, or just a brown sludge.

I never played FC3, so I couldn't say. It's just that the grass in the second pic' reminds me of FC2's grass which reminds me of my home country (South Africa) :)

I have seen plenty of real rifles, and have handled replicas that are true to the real thing.
This is just my criticism, take it if you want, whoever down-votes is an idiot.
I personally dislike the aesthetic direction you are going with the mod in general, but the weapons specifically. Making everything darker and grungy might seem like a cohesive aesthetic, but, to me anyway, it gets boring if everything is brown and dark as these weapons are. For example: the RPG in vanilla was nice and colourful, but washed out and faded to suit the Zone. Making it dark and brownish, again, looses variety in the overall aesthetic.
It would be nice if you changed things up a bit by throwing in some washed out greens and greys, a few reds here and there. This is all my personal opinion, take it as you please.
