It lags like that when A-life is going from offline mode to online mode, as in when the game loads the NPC models. Due to MSO, this will happen a lot. I think one needs a lot of RAM to be able to play this smoothly (I only have 4gb)

That's all really cool and all, but why the hell would the sniper be proficient with a shotgun? Surely it'd make more sense for Assault to be good with these.

But not gameplay :P Vanilla BF2 is a mess, but Alpha Project has better gameplay than BF3 IMO.
Only complaint is that the hammer isn't cocked. Noticed this with the vanilla weapons, feels like I'm carrying around an unloaded weapon. Bothers me so much O.o
Dipping bullets in poison, really? Need anyone even mention how that wouldn't work?

I'm a Grammar Nazi, and I keep noticing many grammatical errors in your comments and posts. I do not mean this as criticism, but if you would like a competent native-speaker with above-average grammar to go through the text files from the mod, I'd be more than happy to do so :)

But how come the Standard and Customised versions (presumably same model) look fine?
Hate to be negative, but what's up with the lower receiver on the Neglected, Modern and Sniper versions? Looks like the magazine is clipping through, or the texture creator decided to make it look transparent. From handling the real thing it just looks really wrong and take away from immersion :/ Otherwise great work, it's my favourite RS rifle :)
They haven't, because they do not know when it will be released. If they gave us a release date, and didn't meet it, you'd be here bitching about it. If they gave you a release date, slated for 2 years from now, you'd still be here bitching.

Lost Alpha is about recreating the old, lost STALKER (hence the name). 3rd parties (modders) can come in and add his-res, high-polly content once it's released.

I just hope beyond hope that there isn't a fence lurking just behind those trees and behind the camera, that that forrest is truly huge and dense. That is what STALKER needs in the absence of one huge map/world.
