What the actual **** are you people talking about? If you have some critique to put forward, then please do so in a clear, intelligent and, most importantly, intelligible manner.
I just hope beyond hope that there isn't a fence lurking just behind those trees and behind the camera, that that forrest is truly huge and dense. That is what STALKER needs in the absence of one huge map/world.
Can we expect a magazine system or similar as seen in ZoA for SOC?

I hope by ''more informative tasks, with tons of descriptions and help for the player'', you don't mean dumb down the game :P It sounds a lot like what DICE did with BF3: they ''lowered the threshold'' as far as complexity goes, IE they made the game easier for people who don't like a challenge. So please don't make the quests/tasks too easy and obvious :)
It seems those who are impatient and whining actually don't have a clue as to what state this GAME is in. Yes, GAME. It's a standalone STALKER game, they've gotten the sourcecode from GSC.
Saying such things as "this will never come out", or "this is going to suck", or "release it already, I'm impatient!", are pointless and negative.
They will not make the game come out sooner, they will not help the Dev team make a better game. Comment like "Omg, good job" are also pointless, but at least they encourage the Dev team and keeps them motivated. I, and others, have said this so many times. People who constantly whine and complain add nothing and only take away from this community. If you have any criticisms, please voice them in a respectful way.

I see what he's saying though, it'd look really cool if he was unarmed and sitting on a chair or something, with the SVD hanging on the wall behind him. Adds to immersion :)

It'd be cool to have as an install option if it's easily doable for you guys. I think that'd be cool for other ''realistic'' features, let's the players customise their experience whilst still adhering to your design :)
While the topic of multiplayer is in the air, COOP, even if it's just a freeplay mode type of thing with only side-quests, would be the most amazing of accomplishments. I am aware that there are russian modders working on this, but so far it's kind of buggy :/

You get minuses because people disagree with you, it is that simple. There is nothing ''mystical'' about what they are saying. A little vague at worst. If you use your head and interpret what they are saying, it seems that GSC wants LA to reach a quality level that warrants GSC putting it on Steam and selling it.
I never played FC3, so I couldn't say. It's just that the grass in the second pic' reminds me of FC2's grass which reminds me of my home country (South Africa) :)

I'm not sure if you, the dev team, have even heard of 'The Faction Wars' for Clear Sky, but will the AI be similar to that? In 'TFW' NPCs loot bodies (and even threaten to kill you if you try to loot a body that they wanted to, and if you do they'll demand that you hand over what you took), drag them into piles away from camps, warn fellow STALKERs if they encountered enemies via PDA chat, announce that they are selling something via PDA chat, and even chat with each other on PDA chat.

OMG YES! This mod is so much fun to play at LAN parties, I just wish there were more people playing online!

STALKER just seems so suited for MP: Imagine a map the size of the Swamps from CS or Pripyat from COP, let players join/form factions if they so choose, add in some anomalies (with artifacts) and mutants and BOOM: amazing STALKER experience. I hope Survarium does something like this.
First of all, this mod has more content than the original STALKER (which took, what, 6 years more-or-less to make?). Second of all, I doubt the dev team cares whether or not you think it should be released now because you are impatient. Third of all, to continue the second point, the dev team knows best in regards to when the mod ought be released, not you. Fourth of all, the dev team want a working, mostly bug-free release because if it was buggy I can guarantee most of those who are moaning and whining for a prompt release will be the first to moan and whine about it. So, in short, be patient.
