So one question, is playfh2.net safe? Bitdefender doesn't really like the files/ (the website too) from there. Also it seems to have problems updating to 2.6. Anyone else using the installer from there?

Great news
Patches for LA are always nice. But are there big performance differences between v1.4002 and v1.4005? (Makes it sense to start a new game for it?).

I don't think this will happen, because of license problems.
But ... If Dezowave asks at GSC, putting LA on Steam ,but promoting for the old parts. . . . Just an idea. Better than not set LA on Steam i think.

No there arent any (real) mods (yet).
But you only need to wait. i think the next(and last) update comes within the next two months:)

I think its enough.
I recommend to no one to do it ingame. It only costs time .
(I have my experience)
You can delete it from the Explorer , too .
you should backup all your Saves,bc if the actual savegames are corrupted you loose everything.
( i found the files in the explorer after deleating 60% ingame)
You can find the savegames in your AppData folder.
To find this folder, you have to write %appdata% in the explorer.
Your savegames are in the folder "Roaming" -> Lost Alpha(or stalker) -> savegames
let the last 5 files in the folder. just to be careful

To everyone who have problems with LA ..(saves)
some time ago i had some errors when loading saves..
i save really often ( 120 times in two hours :)
For me it helped to deleate the needless saves cause it looks LA cant handle too much of them.
i think i had ca. 400 (it cost me a 30 minutes to deleate them all)
But be sure and backup all the files first .(in another file, not ingame)
only keep your actual save ingame
After that i didnt had any problems anymore.
(now look, how many saves do you have:)

A question to the devs:

How does LA run with DC patch?

And did you guys do something to get a better FPS?(optimizing?)

I have some questions:
Is DC the final patch for LA?
Will there be any new updates/ features added after DC?
Or do you start with your new project after DC?

PS. please set LA on Steam. I think there are many people, who never heard of this great game:)
lets hope GSC give you the permission for that.
