But what about the Doomsday? In my opinion it deserves a better AA than that it now have. Because it cost a tremendous amount of time and resource to, so its really a game ender, a counterpart of Avalanche, or Thaez-Atha , and this 2 performs more well against Air than the Doomsday, ok it have a extreme amount of hp , and its land capabilities are far beyond that 2, but its meant to be a mobile fortress, and every preveious games, the mobile fortresses are good against everything, but compared theese, its speed are really slow, but thats not a problem. The problem is, if i finally construct one Doomsday, why it need to fall against Aircraft so easily, this isnt fair.

Please fix the AA in the T3 Experimental units, especially the AA on UEF Doomsday, its quite a shame to this little fortress only have a 4 missile/shot AA weapon, and furthermore its reloads ridiculously slow. It doesnt fit that huge game ender with a dozen of cannons cant withstand to Aircraft too long. If you increase the reload speed, and the amount of missiles to 12 instead 4, I really thank it. You can increase the damage/reaload speed/amount of missiles on the Mayhem Mk 4. too..

And the BlackOps adds a powerful T3 for everyone, the UEF gets the strongest T3 named "Cougar" with dual AA high precision gattling cannon , it can easily take down even the T3 bombers...

Ok, its the best, but only FULLY enjoyable if you use with the BlackOPS + Xtreme Wars ;) Xtreme wars adds lot of upgrades to the Stock units, adds a T1 air Spaceship for everyone(much stronger and mean than the T1 advanced gunships ;) and makes my favourite, the Fatboy a badass killing machine, and an excellent base defense not only ground, but air too ;)Its only drawback to it no longer builds units, if using the Xtrem wars..

And I suggest to some really good Air units for the Seraphim, cause The AEON got a lot of air deathbringers, the T1 Halcyon , The T2 Galaxy and some T3 planetary cleaners so they have a decent air force, and the cybrans have the T1 Eclipse, T2 Intruder, and the T3 Soul Ripper, so they are ok, but if the Gunship and The Fortress are done for the UEF, only the Seraphim will be lacking in air power (ok the Ahvassa is a good decimator, but they need some devastating T3 Air Direct fire unit...

Ok, if burnie finish the Gunship and the fortress, I'll stop whining. But because this large air-force i suggest to every nation in FA to make a T4 AA unit, for example for the UEF : a tank, thats hold 2 Flayer missile launcher and 2 High velocity AA missile launcher(if you cant imagine the HVM, just play with Black OPS, and try the UEF Disruptor ( A really badass big unit killer, against big units it does about 24k damage per shot that lasts about 4 seconds.)

Proper Air to Ground units (especially AIR DIRECT FIRE UNIT), cause only the T1/T2 gunship are effective, but in the endgame they are useless with low hitpoints and damage. And the Imperium will be useless after a while. Other mods like the BlackOps adds a powerful air fortress named Citadel MKII, it have a really nice arsenal against air units, and a lot of HP to keep up longer, but for ground only 2 heavy plasma cannons, that packs quite a punch, but its fire rate and firing angle are rendering it useless against ground, and it cant do serious damage to a base, before its shoot down. The Xtreme wars adds 3 more Air ships, The T1 EFOF Cleaner is a great unit with very long range rapid fire AA guns , and with 4 two barelled plasmacannons (its range are much shorter than any races AIR ships), lethal against T1 Ground units, and dangeourus to T2, but the T3 units are easily bring it down (If you play with BlackOps + TM + Xtreme wars, there are some nasty T3 AA units), The T2 EFOF Protector is purely a support unit with a shield dome for land units, it only have some cruise missiles for ground, and a pack of AA machineguns , The T3 EFOF Infallible is a decent Airship with 45k HP and 20K Shield, good against air with 3 Flayer missile launcher, and with 2 very long range(and slow reloading) orbital laser guns, and 4 two barrelled plasma lasers for shorter targets, so its an artillery from air, not a Direct Fire Air unit, and its reloading speed doesn't allow it to be a direct fire unit...

Use Core Maximizer + Sorian Ai + No Wrekage mod + MySpeed(Removes the sim speed regulator). And decrease the unit count to 250, its more than enough for a decent fight.

I saw it, it was really worth it when this PD thrashes an Exemplar, and when all the cannons fire to the same direction, it relase a barrage that easily destroys even 3 units in one barrage. For AA support it with about 6-8 Flayers, and with 2 Ex-Catalists and 4 Ravagers they become an unbreachable Defense in mid- and close range (Only T3/T4 artillery can destroy them.

And when this little air menace are done, I bet on it to it trashes the Cybran Soulripper gunship singlehandely. This is why I like the UEF ;) Big, Strong, Epic ( And of course expensive and slow to build) weapons with tons of Health, and they will send back all punishment with interest..

In my opinion, this is a Gunship, only with Battleship class level weaponry( and if I'm correct, HP ;) For AA i recommend to instead using cannons, install some High-Velocity AA missiles( like the BlackOps Uleashed mod's Disruptor does, only with a better rate of fire.) For ground its seems like it have 4 3-barrelled Gauss cannons, and if the picture is accurate, the ship in the middle bottom have a huge plasma-cannon( like the Tower Boss)

If you want to play against AI, then download the Sorian AI mod, it powers up the ai to not only spam units, and builds like hell like the original one, but "thinks" more strategically, and slightly slow the slowing down process, anothere resource saving mod is the NO Wrekage mod, that eliminates all wreckage , thus speeds up the performance.. But keep mind, when in 32Bit system, the game reaches 1,5 or 1,6 GB RAM usage (with the system standard 500 MB consuming(i use XP), and exceeds the 2GB limit, the game will crash. For ex. I use 3 Ai-s with 250 Unit cap, 20x20 Seton's Clutch, with this methods, i can play the game about 1,5 hours when the crash occurs.. And my PC is very old with 2x2 6GHz AMD X2 and 2GB RAM, and Gigabyte 8600 GTS.

But their effiency varies, and that is the problem, UEF Flayers combined with some Cougars and Zv-27-s (Thanks to the BlackOps and Xtreme Wars mod) is pretty useful against ALL kind of of air units (of course against swarms), even an Ahwassa bomber doesnt withstand long against them, it only can drop one bomb (my shields always survive that...) before shot down.. Cybrans with the Myrmidon and Bouncer(Black ops T3 AA) and other units that fires AA nanites are reasonablely well against AA, the Seraphim T2 AA is really good(the experimental PD-s are never misses, and doo good damage , the T3 AA is a joke in my opinion, but there are some AA mobile units, that correct this flaw, But the AEON is the wort of all. Their T1 AA simply does low damage (but with a good rate of fire) , T2 projectiles are really slow and inaccurate, and the T3 AA missiles do a good damage, but its fire rate is critical, and against T3 swarms they are absolutely helpless...

I analyzed the gunships, only the UEF and Cybran gunship lacks completely without AA, the AEON gunship still has a light AA missile launcher (it's slow rate of fire, and ludicrous damage makes it almost useless), but only the Seraphim gunship have a decent AA guns..

I'm a Huge UEF fan too, if you want some badass UEF Air units until burnie finishes the fortress, try BlackOps Unleashed and Xtreme Wars, they contain some serious Air units like the Citadel MKII(An excellent AA mobile fortress, its only weakness to his Air to Ground weaponry reduced from the Original Citadel, but it have some decent Air to Ground weaponry), or the EFOF Infallible with 2 long range air to ground laser , some close combat air to ground weaponry, and good AA abilities, and personal shield. It only lacks with high speed.
