Well, you are right at some point, but not in another... Indeed the Game Enders are strong , but buffing a little. (I didn't said it need OVERKILL AA , but have you any idea, how frustrating, when I built one investing a LOT of TIME and RESOURCES(that is their true weakness), and some of them are having a hard time dealing even one strategic bomber or light air Experimental?(and if I didn't have the Black Ops Unleashed mod, then I couldn't reinforce them with decent AA.) So, I don't want to overpower them , just some Exp deserves more useful AA (especially the UEF Doomsday, theoretically speaking its a more than 400 m long and 120 m height metal monster with a dozen of cannons, and TM lauchers, and have only 4 AA missiles / 5 sec shot. Are you kidding me? In real life, it can packed with an almost invincible AA, if needed..
Sorry my enthusiasm, i just happen to love the BALANCE, and theese units deserves that...

I don't mind, if you begin working another mod(hell I'll try it too), but at least polish TM a little(if you need, I can help you with the balancing.) For ex: the land based Game Ender Units ( Doomsday, Avalanche, Thaez - Atha, Hades) have TERRIBLE AA (sorry, I always was a bird killer ^^"), and a Game Ender are SUPPOSED to repel at least any AIR and GROUND based attacks (underwater is another story...) I modified some units AA for myself, but of course there are still plenty of balancing to do.. But I try my best.

Sometimes patience are our ultimate weapon. Just like the Supcom FA mod: Total Mayhem. We still hadn't received any updates for that mod more than a year, but we are still waiting. And don't forget to the modders have a private life too, and maybe sometimes things doesn't go well for them too... So we need to wait longer, but one day our patience rewards us..

Well, what I read about it, Supcom 2 still utilizes only 2 cores of CPU, I didn't got it, cause in 2010 a lot of 4 Core processors are came out... But still I didn't found any "Core Maximizer" for SC2 . That's a shame, cause it cannot utilise my powerhouse PC at fullest..

Well, the Catalyst System, that Albino took from an other game , and implemented the Unitport. It's simple: As you fighting and kill enemy units, you receive XP for a Catalyst storage. If you have enough XP, you can create Catalysts,each Catalyst can produce various benefits for you. For Ex.: The first Catalyst are increasing your units Speed by 13%. The second one are decreasing build time by 10% and etc and etc. In the latest Unitport, you can have 4 active Catalyst at once. That's all roughly.. But theese upgrades can grealy change of your pace of gameplay, if you have proper ones (Catalysts with greater bonuses)

Well, my opinion, If I ever have a chance, I'll combine the Supcom FA with Supcom 2 + the Mods. Why?
1. The Research System are good, and can make the game complex, if everything needs to be unlocked (of course , I'll implement a rule, if somebody doesn't want to upgrade, then everything will be unlocked from start..
2. I'll keep the FA build system, thats simply good.
3. There will be 6 Tiers (Light, Medium, Heavy, Advanced, Experimental, Game Ender)
4. The Catalyst system are good too.

No - No! It has nothing to do with that terrible Muv-Luv: Total Eclipse anime, but with the original Muv - Luv Alternative Visual Novel. The main enemy is the BETA, but the story differs from the original because main Hero and his ACU. But I planned to put the Seraphim in the end of the story, cause I want a Thaez - Atha VS Avalanche showdown ;)

Well, sorry about that, but now I'm writing in hungarian for now, cause is easier to write in my native language, and now I doesn't have enough time to keep up that pace I want + I'm gathering ideas, etc. But if I manage to finish, I swear to all SupCom units in the galaxy I WILL TRANSLATE to English.

Anyway it's a SupCom & Muv Luv Alternative crossove story. (you need check this, cause I'm sure you are familiar enough with Supcom).

Well, the Hero have an 2nd Generation ACU (Developed by Dr. Brackman and the UEF think tanks.) I borrowed some upgrades from Black Ops for the ACU, plus added a unique Molecular Stealth System(when it stands still, even Omni - Sensors can't detect it.) It have secondary defense gatling plasma cannons and AA SAM launchers (of course if you choose the proper upgrade ;) ).
But it's most unique ability is to fly with the thrusters provided to its arms and legs , and its back. It's similar to the jetpack upgrade in SupCom 2 , but theese thrusters are much powerful, even work in outer space , and can transform the ACU to a very fast flying unit, of couse with a tremendous energy consumption and 3 hour flight limit(when it reaches, the thrusters are shut off, whenever the ACU are, and the self repair system needs repair them(1 hour repair time) at once.

But I thought over something about the catalyst system too, and got the idea to how to use that pesky research points, that keep increasing, no matter what you do ;)
As I suggested earlier, we need more slots for the catalysts, but how about unlocking the slots for Research Points ? For Ex.: Unlocking Slot 1 = 10 RP, Slot 2 = 25 RP , Slot 3 = 60 RP, Slot 4 = 140 RP and etc.. And a second thought, can't we recycle the useless (Too low bonus or etc.) catalysts for some RP ? Then we get a more clear view, what catalyst we want. Sorry to I constantly bugging you with the impossible, but thats what I am.

But compared the epic fights in SupCom, it's a huge drawback. You cannot have any Experimentals, there are only 2 tech levels (ok the devastating hyper drive mounted asteroid and that Death Star like weapons are good, but thats all. It looks like the game still missing something, "that" type of epicness, that the SupComs with MOD's are present. It neither that option can help to there are not a fixed map, but a lot of planets ..

But I still doesn't feel the spark unlike in Supcom...

Your opinions?

Wish i could lend my powerhouse PC to you for work, but I'm too greedy. But its a shame to I finally assembled a powerful PC , and now there are shortage of good and new games (at least that I'm interested), but with this i FINALLY able to enjoy both SupComs glory at the fullest... Its a small consolation, but it is!

After a long 3 hour match, i found some bugs:
1. The UEF Horizon reservation are much bigger than its size (really, how can take more place than a Dragonite ?, if comes near thim, the little Horizon pushes the Dragonite back...) The Mayhem 4 and Doomsday needs more missiles against Air(eventually they are Game Enders, aren't they?)

Ohh, it's a long issue, but I always forget to tell. Can you modify the UEF T3 AA "Flayer" projectiles to the original? Right now it fires only 2 missiles (compared to the original 6) with a decent power, but in great numbers they are still useless against masses of T3 gunships or bombers (especially Cybran). So it needs a tweaking..
