I dont make mods but I love playing them! I get mods for sins of a solar empire and star wars empire at war mostly, but I also play Garrysmod, If that even counts.......

well I got ZDoom to work (what is difference between GZdoom and Zdoom anyway) and even though I enabled freeaim, I can't use my mouse to aim. Plus how do you load submods like the metal music and no janitor?
I will try again at some point, but last time I tried Gzdoom it either download failed, it didn't install correctly, or it wouldn't play the game. i don't remember specifically, I just know it didn't work, which is why I use Zanodrum (or however you spell it)

wow, so much better than it was before, though I kinda miss seeing that blue shockwave from that old baliknights (i think) graphics mod, that was pretty cool.
I wanted to hear "I am a monument to all your sins" good after effects though.
will this include a better particle (or whatever its called) for the big lasers on the EOTH platforms? Half the time I cant even tell when it shoots until I see a hardpoint blow off. Maybe like a split second of the hypervelocity gun particle that moves faster?
also, does hamachi work somehow instead of that other program? just asking

will these be spawned randomly or only in the dungeon you mentioned? I don't think they should be spawned outside that dungeon personally

ok thaknks, gamefront is being super slow, i have had it redownloading for the past few hours, and it said it would take longer to finish than what the link you provideds file would take to do the whole thing. i will know to check those on other mods first now too

um for some reason winrar says that "the archive is either in unkown format or damaged" and if I use normal windows extractor, it says that there are no files to extract :( I can see them in there but it will not let me extract. Guess I will try to redownload, but it took about 3hrs last time because gamefront is being slow

been so long since I updated this, but did you replace the whole folders or take the stuff out of the patch folder and put it in the existing folders? If you just replaced the folders then the original mod stuff is gone and only has the patch stuff, which it cant run on. I think thats the way this patch works, some are different, hope it helps

oh good I want this so bad, but I heard that when you render the vid with the older version of the filmaker (from the beta) there was something about it coming out really slow or something and that you had to put it into another video editor to fix it. I doubt that windows movie maker could fix it :\

I havent been watching this mod long, but am looking forward to it! I am going to buy freelancer just to play this. But since you pushed it back, it just gives me time to try it vanilla or try out discovery. I will still be anticipating the release. I understand your reasoning. There are some people out there that blindly pay for and play mmos without looking around a bit and I also agree that many people will play TOR over this if you had released it on the 15th. Now it will give people a chance to play TOR and see if they like it and if they dont they can give this a chance. Been watching this only a month but am still looking foreward to playing it. Keep up the good work.

nah the only thing they had there was a hunting hut and their basic barracks, I destroyed their barracks, wouldnt let me destroy their hunting hut and there was nothing else there. wouldnt let me build anything besides the town watch I destroyed. thanks for the reply though
so I was high elves and I took the the mountain fort from the orcs of the misty mountains. after I took it I couldnt retrain any of my troops. I knew it was because of the culture, but then I noticed there was no option to build my own culture building there. I thought I had to wait for it to upgrade to a bigger castle so I waited. but once it got close to 1800 people the religous unrest made it start losing population. I am stuck in a loop there, what do I do?
I believe its glass there were little glass panes like that in one of the n64 maps if I remember correctly
so you can just type ge_bot_threshold (lets say 13) and it will automatically put 7 on opposite team and 6 on your team? if thats what happens that is awesome, so simple
so when the bots come out are you gonna have to put them in with console commands like in Age of chivalry? It was fun but it took a while and kinda got annoying having to put in bot_add all the time for both teams. and are you gonna have the old n64 soundtrack to the maps? I could get you those sounds if you want (or dont already have them)

so I read your news post for this, and since there is no US server yet (or if there is I am unaware) I like the idea of making stations and the conquest thing. is there a way to integrate that into singleplayer? I mean just like building a station and in some way make trade ships that generate income.
If this is not possible just tell me, I am not very famailiar with freelancer or its limitations quite yet, only got the game the end of last year

also if this wasnt for after the destruction of the death star you could make the empires home planet the death star, just make it smaller than an actual planet. maybe.
strange, most of the time the mod enabler in game works. most of the time it just crashes when enabling and then when I start it up agian it is star wars. it only does that if it the enabler dont work, when it normally does
also, if you put it in rebellion wont you have to have envoys and the tech for diplomacy? what are you gonna do with that?
lol I paid as much for my pc as my brother did for a new xbox, and most games we both have I run better and load faster. and after a sequel comes out multiplayer dont die instantly. some original xbox games still have people playing them, and even farther back than that!

is it a 32 bit system? (xp) if it is xp will never use more than 2 gb of ram on a single program. but I have xp and I like to have huge galaxy battles too, but they do slow down after a while but not as bad or the others. normally 100+ fps but it can go down to 20 at times. did you know I heard its mostly all the trade ships that are the problem? all the pathfinding takes up a lot of ram. or so I have heard
ok cool, I remember that in the current version they could take defenses, they took my super MACs and killed my fleet the first time I fought them :(

one of my friends refused to play this mod til another faction was added, maybe now i can convince him to play this with me and help defend against the flood. but i have a few questions.
why do the flood get a whole bunch of ships that just randomly jump to a specific planet from outside the system?
and are starbases able to be taken instantly by the flood like super MACs and other defenses?
i am guessing mines are still the best way to go

if you were replying to me corey, I was just telling him how to add more planets to games. I knew you wouldnt make a star for each planet XD god that would lag so bad near the end
another way to have a lot of planets and stars is just to use the galaxy creator in game. you can add as many stars as you want and as many planet groups as you want, you just cant control individual planet types, positions or names. I once made a 12 star 500 planet map with little lag til the end game. then it lagged horribly :p
