wow those beards.

I've found one (rather annoying) issue in the good campaign. Past the Minas Tirith Mission, the evil faction spawns free units from haradrim palaces and mumakil pens every few seconds. This results in hundreds of haradrim units swarming the player very quickly (within 2 minutes) and continuing until those buildings are destroyed.

Asides from that, I like the mod so far.

It says "provide overwatch and closed support to attacked sectors" in the defensive measures tree. Should this be "close support"? I think that may be a more authentic military term, as the military will use terms like Close Air Support (CAS) rather than closed support.

Some Historical Tips:
Since the mod is set during the Trojan Wars (before 1000 b.c.e), the Hittites, Lydians or Phrygians would be a more viable faction than the Galatians, which only migrated to anatolia during the celtic migrations after Alexander the Great's death (circa 270 b.c.e.).

If you decide that the trojan war takes place before 1200 b.c.e., then the Hittites are the faction you want to use. If the war takes place after that, the Phrygians or Lydians would be the historically accurate choice.

In the Illiad and Odyssey, the Kingdom of Mycenae is the historical equivalent of your kingdom of Achaens in your mod, assuming that that kingdom is the one headed by King Agammemnon.

Darn! The utility broke my save game (now I get CTDs when a I load them) That'll teach me not to back them up!

This is by far my favorite eaw mod. However, I appear to have a rather annoying problem. My GC campaign freezes on day 23 and I can't progress any further because the game crashes. I am playing as the Republic.

Has this issue been experience by anyone else? How did you fix it?

Clash of Kings is in a more developed state. This mod is still in Alpha.

When this is done however, I expect that this mod will be more realistic than Clash of Kings. Whether that is 'better' to you is a matter of personal opinion.

How do you switch to overhand?

Well, even a non-gaming $600-800 desktop computer will be able to run Sins. Mine can! Just turn down the settings.

So will it be basically one weapon (same ammo pool)?

I find that games with the same weapon but different attachments having different ammo pools rather annoying...

Tbh I thought that the BFME fanbase had already died off. :/

For some reason, the attackers points keep on decreasing regardless of how many flags they have (in SP). I tried Gold Beach and had captured all but 2 point but still was losing points constantly.

Is this meant to happen?

Mod is Based in the 3rd century BC. Segmentata was introduced 14 BC (I think). It would be historically inaccurate.

Will the Beta 0.99a and b be Open or Closed?

Can anyone give me an idea of the SP in the mod? I kinda wanna know before I download 6 gigs :P
