In more recent versions, you have a third-person camera now, totally polished up - no animation problems and everything is done client-side too.
Yeah, we're still going to be making our own levels of course - as well as converting other singleplayer mods too.
ProudOne, we've removed telefragging completely and made players not collide with eachother (so no one can block doorways and such).
Synergymod.net is working fine. If you mean the forums, well someone defaced the invisionfree.com website, so our forums were down for a while.
Half-Life 2 is all you need bigmit37 with the R 1.0 update.
If you mean the forums, then what happend is someone hacked invisionfree.com temporarily. But that has been resolved.
Synergymod.net is working just fine.
I don't know which version you've played, but most of those issues have been fixed.
You must be playing one of the challenging maps (HalfMileIsland or EvilDead). I would recommend playing 'Canal Escape 1', 'Apprehension' or the Half-Life 2 campaign (start level is 'd1_trainstation_01').
Well, you can stick with what you like, but if you're just unwilling to try something, well, that really is a disappointment.
Many. Check our website ( Synergymod.net ) or the Steam Status page ( Steampowered.com ).
Because your statements are not truthful, nor positive.
...What decompiled maps?
Never seen that before. Get a screenshot and post it on our forum.
What are you talking about? The server and the client need the same games mounted in order to play the game properly. Quit your bashing.
You will indeed. That will come soon after tomorrow's release (give it a month or two).
Episode 2 however, will take longer (still waiting on Valve's SDK update).
Synergy has been around long before any other Half-Life 2 Coop mods. We first started in 2005, we haven't stolen any ideas.
The problem was we Synergy was based on "Half-Life 2" and loaded "Half-Life 2: Deathmatch". So that's where the "Half-Life 2: Deathmatch" came from. In version 1.0 (our next release), this problem does not exist anymore, as we do not require "Half-Life 2: Deathmatch" anymore.

Whoops, yes, I mean 2.6 Full.
All you need is Synergy Beta 2.3 Full. That's not alot to download.
Yes, you need Half-Life 2: Deathmatch to play Synergy. However, our next version will not require players to own Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.
You can just download the 2.6 Full.
No, we're making the HL2 SP work properly first, before we do anything else.
However, we are in the process of discussing ways of making the campaign more difficult.
That's impossible, you couldn't possibly have HEARD "Linux version". >XD lol
Yes you read correct, Linux version. (Possibly even more reliable than the Windows version :O)
Yes you do, and you need Half-Life 2 and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch to play
Slight delay nothing to worry about.
As jackhammer19 said, 'it is now' :)
Ah, sorry about that.
We're trying to get a Linux version built. :)
Easiest way is to use the Quick Start Game menu.
Beta 2.4 Released
Go get eet.
Dial-up friendly... Most likely not, but then again, no one has tested it with dial-up.
FALCO_PL, the installer does not touch any system files, nor does it modify the Windows Registry - it just reads one value from the registry to obtain the location of your SourceMods directory.
Beta 2.4 will be released this Friday
You obviously haven't gone to the forums yet.
Just copy your "synergy/synergy.fgd" file to your "sourcesdk/bin" folder, setup Hammer and go to it.
Hardly matters now anyway; Beta 2.3 has a full installer now.
