Ah yeah, forgot to uninstall the unofficial patch. It was set to be 2.01 though so it shouldn't have caused issues.

Things appear to be invisible and loss of textures & stuff. For example, when trying to recruit a hero in War of The Ring there's a pink portrait. Another example is that my Create a Hero army isn't visible on the map but that might be the game's design because I can't really remember if the Create a Hero heroes are able to actually be commanders.
I'm getting .net framework error when I try to launch it. I've tried repairing, reinstalling and restarting but it doesn't work.
Think it works when I start the regular .exe instead of through the launcher. Not sure if everything works correctly this way though but the Master Hero Mod window pops up before the game starts.
I have installed the mod in the game directory but I still got that message.
And if it have to be installed in the basegame it shouldn't autochoose rotwk.

Yes, it is, you can only play in English, otherways, you will have native (vanilla) names, for example, if you're German, and you play in German, you will have Vaegir Soldat instead of Gondor Footman, and so on.

At the moment I'm quite busy with some other things so I can't really spend a whole lot of time on Modular Combat any more :/

You also need to be aware of that bugs might appear with the diplomacy mod due to the game being 1.34 (Forgot that they had updated since I last played).
Every game have been updated at least once since the mods release so keep in mind of that there is a chance of bugs.
The Trinity which you've bought on Steam is the base game + expansions where as the Diplomacy release is the latest one (1.32).
It mostly depends on what version of the game you prefer.
Think it like this, now you can build rails right next to each other without them going the wrong way because of the carts driving into each other :)
