Any ETA on 2.0?
Is it just me who can't play the Campaign (No matter what 'game' I try to load)?
Can't play the Campaign with the new stuff though :S
Will the grand release work with the 'Campaign'?
If so, does the commanders still have upgradeable wargear?
Why do you call it dead when it's pretty much 'complete'?
Not sure, maybe at some point.
At the moment I'm quite busy with some other things so I can't really spend a whole lot of time on Modular Combat any more :/
Hopefully I'll be able to contribute at some point but at the moment, no.
I'm glad to see that the mod is still progressing and that it's not dead.
Was a while since I last played it and was an active part of the community.
Used to be Lead Q&A for a short time and then admin but like I said, a long time ago :P
Looks awesome, nice work! ^^
You also need to be aware of that bugs might appear with the diplomacy mod due to the game being 1.34 (Forgot that they had updated since I last played).
Every game have been updated at least once since the mods release so keep in mind of that there is a chance of bugs.
The Trinity which you've bought on Steam is the base game + expansions where as the Diplomacy release is the latest one (1.32).
It mostly depends on what version of the game you prefer.
Think it like this, now you can build rails right next to each other without them going the wrong way because of the carts driving into each other :)
Don't worry, he's faking it.
I don't get it...
You're aware of that the game is in beta at the moment and there will be more stuff added?
So you basically want the exact version as the game is now because that is "minecraft" for you? ;)
I personally think f0u's suggestions were awesome.
Looks awesome, just a teeny tiny question... Any ETA? ;)
Btw, is this for Diplomacy, entrenchment or regular base?
Anyone know if there's a server command for changing weather?
Quite smart idea tbh.
Can people just let them continue working on the mod instead of asking when it comes out >.<
Read the other comments (Not all of them ofc) before asking 8-)
Well, at least page 1-3.
And now I can't even start a Skirmish... It sends me back to the main menu every time >.<
Btw, I'm loading the map Orel (Me+ 3CPU (Normal) Vs 4 CPU(Normal))
The short parts I tested was pretty good though xD
The game crashed twice in a row for me...
Once when I looked at my allies' base get attacked by one of those German MC while itself got attacked by a flamethrower.
And the other time when a skirmish game was getting loaded...
It would be nice if the updater auto-detected the install folder...
It's really annoying to find the
"C:\Program Files\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\company of heroes\"
every time I'm forced to update a single tiny patch :P
Either make an option in the launcher to choose the folder or make a single update with all the updates :P
Never mind -.-
Not sure if it applies to all the updates but apparently there was such a option in Settings :P
Got a few minor questions about the game and the development.
1. Will you add different sounds to where you walk?
Because I noticed that there is no different between walking on a regular road (With stones) and a gravel path (Sorry for my grammar, I'm really tired).
2. Will there be any Epic Battles (I highly doubt the engine supports it though)(Like Minas Tirith and Helms Deep) or will there only be more of a 5v5 battles and such?
3. Will the class & race system be changed? I mean, of course there will be new races but can you choose if you want to be a hobbit or a Orc (If possible) and will the choice affect the later gameplay with how the people greet you?
4. Will there be any kind of "transformation" like the vampire Quests where you get transformed into a vampire (Can't remember if this was Morrowind or TES4) or a Werewolf but of course more LOTR lore-like.
5.Is there any ETA for the release?
6.Do you have any statistics on how far you're in the development? (Models: #%, Sound: #% etc...)
This mod is really.. really.. really small :P
5 mb for a lot of additions? You sure that's right? ;)
Well, having a "special" version for just me isn't really necessary but you could try and add a option in "Game Options" before you create a game or something like that :P
Cause I find being capable of turning features on or off is never available in mods ;-)
You wrote to the past dude that you can build every hero from other factions included.
" !..offcouse all !! "
Is it possible turn off the ability of being capable of building every hero?
I want the other features but being capable of making every hero makes it a bit more unbalanced in my opinion ;)
So... Has 1.4 been released yet?
