Both the turret and chassis have changed alittle, a new update will be uploaded soon.
Also the heavy tank has changed abit, it has been scaled to have similar dimensions to the original RA renders, but none of the design work for this unit has been changed.
They should have made it in WW2 imo. Or perhaps they may consider that afterwards.
I havn't really though of the Aircraft yet, though I was going to mimic the color schemes used in RA3 for the USA, they seem too stick out really well. Though for other nations I am going to take inspiration from their governing real life countries.
I cant see why there cant be some prop aircraft in the mix. I mean the original Yak was a prop aircraft. Was going to be definitely taking influences from the Tupolev Tu-95 and the B29 as well.
The industry here is scaling back more into portable device development in my city (Brisbane), with some larger companies down south in Sydney and Melbourne. I do however have English citizenship and will probably find myself over in Europe once I graduate.
As for your offer, I would gladly accept any help:) Though presently I want to trial the workload just with myself to ensure I can be a good example for others. The last thing I want is, (like some previous projects) to get really excited about a concept and realise I cant actually work on it due to work, RL and studies. Then make excuses and promises that work will continue while doing nothing haha. I really want to get this off the ground and actually finish something for a change:)
So I'll trial this for a month and see how much work I get done, then if things look promising, I'll get you onboard for sure.
Same goes for other people as well:)
For me, I value the goal of completing the project as well as ensuring it remains balanced and fun over who does what and who goes into the credits at the end:)
Cheers dude, the luck wishes mean a hell of alot:P Yeah went to my first lecture yesterday of my new degree, and one point covered was that games development is no longer a cottage industry, people need professional qualifications to get in. And the job descriptions have all become abit blurred compared to say 10 - 15 years ago.

I'm interested in doing some concept art for your mod. Your mod appealed to me because its thinking out of the box. I think the idea of converting a medieval game into a post apocalyptic one is brilliant.
I also draw for my own projects and for 2 RA3 mods.
On top of that I'm slowly building up a mod base of fallout 3 mods which I have developed.
As well as concept art, Im slowly teaching my self all forms of 3d modelling animation and skinning but I wont say I'm a modeller just yet. Give me acouple of months;P and I should be able to do some works in these fields.

Haha late reply, been pretty busy with uni. As for TSD Rico is in command of it so if no progress has been made then I can safely assume that any further attempts at working on it have been canned. However there has been some interest lately about starting work on it again fron other members of PPM.

Soviet themed AA unit
A bunker built within a mound of dirt and soil. I have yet to see a RTS mod or game implement such a defence. A really cool effect would be for this defencive stricture to merge seamlessly with the surrounding terrain.
A more futuristic looking Banshee, would be perfect for use in C&C3 since its design is derived directly from Tiberian Sun's Banshee.
A very Nod like interceptor.
A futuristic heavy/mammoth tank equipt with advanced sensors as well as a remote anti inf turret. Duel barrels of DOOM:P
A somewhat European or Soviet themed APC/Tank destroyer or both. Perfect for urban warfare as well as the open battlefield.
A basic concept for a GDI APC, a relatively quick sketch which is in the process of being colored in PS. It's heavy nature reflects that of the other GDI units nicely.
A brotherhood of Nod light tank or SP artillery. It would look good in cnc3 I think since it's curvy and sleek similar to Nod's other units.

I heard about this jet recently, is that the new 5th generation stealth fighter that is proposed to have the intelligence of a human? Notice how I said proposed there, I doubt it does however.
It was used extensively in Ireland fighting the IRA as well.
It would be really awesome to have to option to send a message to your email every time there is an update to anything you are tracking, not only that, but also a means of browsing said update in your email. Alot of other sites do this already and just means that say your in a rush you can just peruse about whats going on and come back to it later.

Lol!! This mod's timeline connects the dots between RA and TD completely overwriting any RA's after RA. I have always believed a connection exists:P

As for the continuation of TSD, absolutely. There is much in store for the continued development.

Though RA2 was a good game, the unit styles and designs where not reflective of the original RA units, somewhat of a dissapointment imo. SO why would he add the units to an RA mod...
Probably go for something similar to the German bomber :) But there is a good chance I will be changing textures in the future.
Loving it, even when you return 6 months to a year later to hear them again!
