The Abrams is a tried and true fighting vehicle. It is very powerful, and it is well protected. In one instance, a Abrams survived a barrage of RPG rockets (amounting to about 50 rockets)and a couple of 105mm shells from a Russian T-54/55 in use with the Iraqi Army. No one can dispute the power of the Abrams.
