Yes because we all know that the point of making mods is to get paid. I don't care how hard you have to work on it; mod making has NEVER been about the pay. If it was, then sorry but Docm should just go ahead and develop his own game, which probably would have taken about as long anyway. So seriously get YOUR head out of YOUR ******* *** before you tell others to do the same.
I don't see why you'd have to. This new version should be playable all by itself. Just download it and copy into Modules and run it. It should be all good with the new version. Don't worry about whatever name it displays while it's downloading. So long as it's something which resembles the file (which seems legit in your case), you should be fine.
Can you guys ppllleeeaassseeee make sure that the AI don't drop their spears/ sarissae in multiplayer matches in your next release? :)
Ahhhhh okay. Thank you for your speedy and kind reply. Sorry your mod got ripped off of :( Ya I was a bit confused as to what that formation was supposed to be.... Anyway on a side note, do you think that you could fix the thing in multiplayer where the ai bots hoplites and phalangites drop their spears/ sarrisae at the beginning of every match? That would make RaW sooooo much better (since there are virtually no mp servers up) even though it's already very good! :)
Call me ignorant, but where on Earth on this page is there any rip- off of RaW? I see one picture posted of a cohort (I think?) forming some sort of shield- wall (maybe testudo?), and the name of this mod is "Ancient Warfare", not "Rome at War", which confuses me as to why people on this thread are claiming that even the name is a "rip- off". Sorry, but I just don't see where all these conclusions are being drawn from....

You go to multiplayer, click on "Host a Game", and then set the number of bots on each team to however many you'd like. You can have fun playing around with the various game types and settings as well :)
He said roughly at the beginning of the year that he would try to have a release sometime in the year (2013). But, it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. I'll honestly be surprised at this point if the mod ever gets released. But I know Docm30 is working his arse off and I can only hope that his inhuman devotion to this mod will pay off. And I'm sure it will.

Because the hoplites and phalangites always drop their doru's/ sarissa's right at the beginning of a match and it's annoying as hell.
Sorry also is there ANY way at all to force bots to use spears in multiplayer ai

No matter what, this mod will never be able to remedy the horrid Warband AI like the REAL WFAS game did. Buy the legit version people. It's so much more playable.

You have to wait until the mod is finished and released before you can download it. Many mods on this site are still works in progress. Generally, you can't download a mod until it's finished and released, which this mod is currently not. Hope I helped!
