There is no light in this tunnel.
My dad's a cop, I'll make sure he puts in a good word for you! You've got nothing to fear.
Abusing the quote button somewhat lately? :p
It's always a pleasure seeing your avatar. Have fun!
I wanna touch him... Amazing job! Are these view port grabs from 3ds max? The shader looks sweet!
You haven't played any bad PS3 games... strange!
I just wanna give you 2 thumbs up for your comments on the "unlimited atoms" thread.
You're "if someone invents a new ..." thinking is wrong.
By the time this "unlimited graphics" has a matched "unlimited nimations" and "unlimited physics" engine (ignoring every other "unlimited" component needed to make a full game) polygonal engines will have made major leaps forward as well.
It all sounds cool but you can't really do anything with it yet, so what's the point in comparing yourself with *real* (complete) engines.
They are comparing themselves with Crytek. I want to bet that if Crytek only had to focus on graphics they would be able to beat this unlimited graphics engine (who *really* needs unlimited zoom?). But they have other things to worry about: networking, physics, gameplay, ai, ...
Putting blobs on the screen is only half of the story in a real game, if it even is half...
It all relates to each other so what's the point of getting all these blobs on the screen when you can't do anything with it?
Also -> read dragonlords post.
Good point about the cost for artwork.
Haha! Yeah... I mean there is a good reason why they use polygons, I oversimplify but anyone can draw dots on the screen.
Why are so little people using actual vector graphics for 2D games? It's the same thing.
Ok implement this in a REAL game and we'll talk, show me some physics.
Looks great, tracking.
Well I know at least one game that can be modded on the PS3 - Unreal Tournament 3.
I guess it all depends on the engine, consoles are really just dumbed down PC's with the same hardware (especially the hard drive disk).
No mods is fine with me.
No offline mode however, thanks but no thanks Blizzard.
I'll play something else.
On kickstarter they say it will probably be around 10$.
I like the graphics and style so far! But... "top quality experience like you’ve never seen before", I think I've seen games like this before ;).
Or are you purely talking about free-roaming and mobile devices?
Skills at work. Good job!
Hey, thanks for the compassion-comment haha. But I delete comments after a while, keep things fresh you know :p.
Sup with you? Taking a different route in art I see, less drawing more processing.
I don't get it.
No, I would like to but there are still a few reasons why I don't buy one yet:
- all the facebook/twitter/other crap that gets installed
- I drop my cell every few days, a smartphone doesn't stand a chance!
- with "mobile internet" costing what it does today (here), it's not worth it - and without internet why even bother?
Makes no difference to me, if I can run it with max/high settings I'll buy it!
I'll keep spamming the negative karma button, because the answer to this question as been given multiple times already. Yet again on this post: Cl0p1n
I did not check your program but, again, your models look really good.
I've used this image as reference: Urania.be
Just for fun atm.
Nice car, is it perhaps from the 3D Buzz tutorial?
Yes change the materials for the rubber and the mirrors. Also use some post processing to bring out the red and yellow, it's a bit "flat" now.
A LOT better than your motorbike render from before :p.
Currently none - maybe a really small game or something I don't know...
Thx, I guess...
