You should do a round-up of the best quality community maps, have a vote, and release them in the Official release. I've seen other mods do this and it's a great thing for longevity. For some reason, people are iffy ab out playing maps that you have to download - I don't really get it myself, that's part of PC gaming, but, you know...

Like every major update, have the top 3 community selected maps, added, with credits and authors consent(Who wouldn't? If I was a map maker, I'd consider it an honor), just as a way to keep variety going.

Don't even put this on the same level as a VN.

I read tons of VN, Saya no Uta, Utawarerumono, Tears to Tiara, Fate / Stay Night Tsukihime, and dozens more and this is a terrible title. It makes it seem like a kid came up with it.

And then there is the laughable story I looked up...cmon, you had to make the graphics, and gameplay, AND STORY? All generic? Not even trying for any creativity?

Utawarerumono is one of the best examples of RPG + VN mixed, as is Tears to Tiara. There are several more, Men at Work, Spirit Of Eternity Sword was amazing.

Even if the art wasn't to HQ, the story, characters, and overall gameplay was so addicting I played it like 10 times in a row.

Also features New Game +, over 8 unique endings, and all that good stuff.

Good. MP shooters can turn Indie, but for me, a SP Game should finish itself.

Curse suffers from this, the first Chapter is a free mod, but the rest is going to be a Indie game, which means it's cut off.

So I'd say, finish up Underhell, then make something more amazing and go Indie with that new idea. You'll have learned alot by then by completing Underhell.

I'd most likely buy it regardless, because this is just so great. I hope Fileplanet's review of it is good and gets more exposure.

Lol, ok, that now is expecting to much. Deal of the Year is obviously going to be the 10$ Orange Box that was out for awhile. I mean you got HL2, EP1, EP2, Portal, TF2, ect, and access to all the mods for 10$? That's a REAL deal. :P

Sides, this DLC, as said, isn't anything major, so I don't see this as being a deal. If they had just allowed custom content replacement, this wouldn't matter at all, but no, they wanted to find ways to get more money out of you, so they make you pay for it, instead of unlocking Custom Content.

Resident Evil 4 PC is the best version - with mods. Mods add 1080p cutscenes taken from the Wii version, with 4xAA and 16xAF - as well as new texture packs that offer 4x the resolution of the original, higher polygon models.

It looks better than RE5/6.

This is an older video - the newer mods make it look incredible, this doesn't include the 1080p Wii videos, either.

PC also allows for mods like this:

Man, I can't wait for the Steamworks version. Such a lack of people right now.

Also, performance can be bad on some levels and when I asked on the forums, it seems nothing can be done, limitation of Source + so many Zombies, they say. (If you've played Survival, you know what I mean, 30FPS capped almost for no reason if you leave the house, no matter the specs.)

Still, one of my favorite thinks to do is is use the command to spawn all the guns / weapons in the game, survival mode that is, and allow people to go nuts. You see some really epic, game-breaking bugs by having 8 people with a chainsaw, or multiple flares going up and seeing copters crashing into buildings.

Still kinda ****** at how this and In Country were supposed to be free, now they cost as much as the game itself

A big part of the reason I got the game is "Red Orchestra 2 will have mod tools, and allow incredible mods" they then linked to this, and In Country, and said that they would be free for all owners of Red Orchestra 2.

Now both are going to cost as much as the game itself.

While the work on the mods is commendable, I can't help but feel the old "Bait n switch" tactic was used here.

Even the 40% off discount I receive for owning RO2 doesn't get rid of the feeling.

Question on the doors, haven't been keeping up, is that just an effect, or is there actual loading during the transitions? I imagine if it's actual loading, it allows quite alot more detail and more entities in an area, allowing for generally more going on.

If it's just an effect, still cool, like Resident Evil or so.

Also, the video seems really jittery / low FPS, stuttering in general. Is this due to the Stream quality, his computers performance, or just due to the nature of the mod?
