That guy who everyone hates and doesn't hide it, or they try to, but not very well. List of (known)people who hate me: Sacmo & Nivek(Possibly his gf too) Neo Tokyo's Dev's and Playtesters. Mother. Sister. My Ex's, Ex's BF's. And for anyone I forgot to mention, sorry, just post a comment or send me a email and I'll add you to the list.
Please...
Don't perpetuate the stupid rumor that you cant' see more than 30FPS.
Please.
Human eyes see in light, there is no max FPS. 24FPS is just what is required for us to see in fluid motion and movies use motion blur, excessively.
There is a clear difference between 30, 60, 120,to me. I own a 120HZ monitor and it's almost like being on CRT again. Smooth.
I get double FPS in every game,.
And yes, this by default does not have SLi, but enabling it, I do get a slight boost.
Still, performance is terrible. Single GPU or both, it's crap.
Uh...dude. I know about SLI, I know about computers.
Single GPU or multiple, this issue persists. SLI has come along way from what I used to be.
It's not on my end.
If you SHOULD indeed play it, then you would see. Granted, they still have to the 31st...but seriously. If you check their forums, people with like a 7970's and such can barely play the game.
I will try emailing the engine programmer, but I am not so well versed as he, I imagine, I could tell him very little.
Also Scuba, this game uses alot more advanced effects than Borderlands 2. It's more intense regardless of optimization.
But my issue is the maps are smaller than Counter-Strike maps, the graphics look good, like a PC game should infact, but let me be perfectly honest - Metro 2033 runs better than this, and that is saying alot, considering what a mess that game is, performance wise.
I can forgive this quite abit though, due to their small time and yes, crazy idea that they should create a Triple AAA Engine without the funds to do so. :P
Not to mention, server performance affects YOUR performance, which I have NEVER seen in another game. For example, say you go to a high end server run on the best possible rig - Your FPS will be alright
But say someone is hosting on a slightly aged rig - which should completely be capable of hosting a dedicated server; your FPS suffers because the server. I have never seen that in any other online game.
And alot of servers...do not run well. You have to restart them every 3 hours or even the best of them just end ups low and laggy.
I know it sounds insulting, but I can't imagine this game is ready for release by the end of the month.
The UI for players has improved alot, but the menu layout and UI is still archaic.
If you can run Crysis
You can't run this.
In buils 194 / 195,I had 100+ FPS at any settings. With a Q6600 @ 3.4GHZ and a GTX470.
Alot of builds ago. But the graphics have not improved much.
Now with 670 SLi and a 2500K @ 4.5GHZ, I get less than 40FPS, the majority of the time, hovering around 50FPS...AND the sound is ****** up. All my speakers, since the latest build, have sound channels reversed. No option I've found in the settings can help.
I'm sorry, but the game looks nice, but around 2008-2009ish. I realize you're indie and you made the Engine from scratch
But regularly my CPU usage sits around 30-40% and GPU around 50-60%, while I have as low as 30FPS. This is even if I lower the resolution, and graphics setting, my FPS barley raises a few FPS.
Infact, when I lower them, my GPU usage does go down to around 10%, but performance stays nearly the same. This has been across two formats, two full re-downloads, and multiple driver changes of which I cleaned thoroughly.
Clearly optimization is needed, heavily. This could break the game.
Red Orchestra 2, on release, had terrible performance. But 6 months of patches and bam, systems that could not run it before, now can @ medium with 40-50FPS. And that's UE3.0! Known for optimization!
So I'm just saying guys...I know you wanna keep the release date...but is it worth potentially destroying the game?
SLI is wroking if you force it. I see my GPU's sitting around 50% each.
I also turned off every setting to low and my FPS did not increase.
Only game with these issues.
Also, the game doesn't look good enough to warrant this performance. No offense.
Not ready. ~ Having played every latest build, it's been getting progressively worse in terms of performance, even on a decently high end rig.
It needs at least a 300% performance increase by the 31st to be reasonable. Can you manage?
Cause I have a 2500K @ 4.5GHZ, 8GB of RAM, and a GTX670 SLi and on high or low I get 30-40FPS. Most people don't have such a system...
Bastard, he took my spot?
An update?
Tazaah!
Having played CoC, I can say they are nothing alike. Though I enjoy both though.
Looks like AMnesia, and follows somewhat of the same plot.
But I might try this out.
Ah, yes, it's ok to add, was just curious.
No, I like this guy.
The Swede on Hell on Wheels is a creepy mofo.
Besides, the "Swede" on Hell on Wheels isn't Swedish.
Hey man, what's up, what's with the add?
Oh nice, I was thinking of getting this .22
Because this is an official video, so it is staged to look and entice you.
Actually gameplay never looks like this. IT can, but only if you play with 64 people whom are all in a clan, related, or armchair generals and have excellent teamwork and understanding of the game.
Well, I got it knocked down to a 4.99$, a small victory.
Awesome, the price dropped to 24.99$, it's not 19.99$ as it should be, but it's an improvement.

I don't use a 700$ monitor.
Mine was 555$. It's a S-IPS, 27'', 1440p, 120HZ monitor. It has no scaler, so low response time and little input lag.
For about 320$ you can get a normal one, without the 120HZ. They use the same panel as a Dell U2711 or a Apple Cinema Display. For alot less. They are the rejects, A- Panels, but people have compared the two, and unless you sit 30 cm away from the monitor, you can literally not see the dead pixels. Some have backlight issues.
There's a plethora of them, but I wanted 120HZ, so I sprang the extra cash.

One of the best purchases I've made. Such a cheap price, I paid 369$, 4 years ago, for my 24'', TN.
I put them side by side...and like...wow...it's stupid, I can never go back to TN. The colors on this, it's an 8-bit panel...
It's absurdly awesome...1440p has double the pixels of 1080p, so it is a large upgrade. The color accuracy makes it worth it the most, I think. Colors show what they really are...TN panels are often 6-bit, dithered to 7-bit, not displaying more than 256,000 colors. This is true 16.7M colors.
I was on a website, that for years, I thought was white. Turns out, it was grey. Lol.
As for how many people use them? Tens of thousands, I'd say.
Someone gifted this to me, but there's never anyone playing, though it seemed cool.
A shame.

No 1440p, or 1600p?
High resolution my arse. :P
Vndb.org
Mhm. It was touted as being one of the best, and I waited a long time for it to be translated.
It ended up being pathetic characters, mediocre animation, and no plot. I honestly hated every character in it by the end of it.
One thing I should warn people about, I suppose.
The art, looks cutesy, and that may make you think it is that type of game.
No, the cute art is there to disarm you. To make you feel like it's a Disney flick and it's a fairy tale with everything going right.
Wrong. Lots of gore, lots of death, murder, ect. It's actually stupidly dark for how the characters are drawn.
Ugh, the plot of this just disgusts me...
Also, I hated School Days, it was just boring, it had pathetic characters, and it was over-hyped.
Yes...this came first, then the anime series.
This is also from the same group that made the story about the Golden Witch, of which I am waiting for the PS3Fication of; only the first chapter was done.
Wow, no way, this was released on Steam...?
I can't believe it...
100$ is good to keep bad submissions off. Steam Greenlight originally wasn't designed for mods, but Indie developers.
100$ all goes to charity as well. If you don't think the publicity is worth 100$, then simply don't pay.
Hello, what's up?
22.
Tripwire Interactive did not do this with Red Orchestra 2. As well as having a ultra-short beta, they released at a high price point of 39.99$. It went on sale for 32$ shortly, but no one bought it.
The majority of sales, of active players, got it from a Key selling website for 23$, as did I.
Then, when they released the GOTY Edition for 19.99$, they sold a ton of copies, and continue to have a steady flow of revenue and new players.
Price matters. People are simple minded in the end, and seeing a 10$ difference makes them go "Hmm, I'll try it, it's only 20$"
Rather than "It's only 30$", never seen anyone say that, but seen the 20$ comment several times with friends who want to purchase a game.
Look at Torchlight 2. Huge dev team, years of work, and it's a Triple AAA title. Releasing for 20$.
PReviously developers @ 59.99$, got 14$ per sale, after all the cuts taken.
But Digital sales, you can get 100% of the profits. So a 20$ game can make MORE than 60$ game. The Torchlight II devs just did an article explaining this.
So I see no reason why 29.99$ should be the price point.
Only if they want a small, niche community, and a product that may barely sell enough to cover it's costs. Then again, it doesn't have that high of a cost in the first place, so I may be wrong about that.
