Description
This is based on the assault rifle concept for "frontlines: fuel of war" found here:

I had been out of practice modeling for a while and used this as both an opportunity to make a fictional weapon from a concept and get back into the swing of things for a current project. I modeled this completely off of the concept and never looked at the real model until I was finished.
