1 and 2 mean you didn't update your FreeUI, which you should.
3. We aim for vanilla balance. Unlimited units are not balanced, and definitely not fun for your oponents.
4. Hive guard is not mentioned anywhere in the mod. The HT's model has the wings, albeit disabled. Other mods which used our assets got to enable the wings and the fly ability. But that has never been enabled in our mod.
5. You can get two squads of stealers (or stealers and raveners/lictors/gaunts) and a broodlord in 2 mins. And you have your toxic miasma. If you are being rush killed you're simply not using all your tools!
Nah, the tutorial happens in a vanilla map. It's Tarsis Ultra, but that's been in at least since beta 1 iirc.
Exactly what Zaha said. Gargoyles are a 'bonus' unit in this version, in that they weren't meant to be introduced until 0.6. We put them in because the model is nice and we wanted you guys to get to see it.
The music not playing might be a FreeUI thing. Try updating it.
We can't speak for UA, but my guess is they'd need to adapt their code for compatibility. Nag them in their mod page! :D
Hmmm will look into it. We did add many many sounds (select, move, capture, ...) for a bunch of units, but it's entirely possible these slipped through. Thanks for the headsup!
Could you please give it a run without merging with other mods? This way we can narrow down what the issue might be.
The rig is the pariah's, so all animations are kept identical.
Will definitely do. I also plan on adding a turning animation so it looks smoother.
Notice that all frames have been resized for widescreen resolutions. No more stretching, yay!
Also, finally managed to get tooltips working.

P.S. Will take me a while to get used to reversed minimap and command positions but oh well.
I believe the original UI was made by -X-, although many changes have been made in the (yet unreleased) last version, so you may want to hold on for that.

You can play the campaign as normal, you just won't be able to play it as the Tyranids.
If by compatible you mean if you can play it, then yes it is. The mod doesn't add any new content to the campaign, though.
As for translation, yes it is! And translators are very welcome :)
Short answer: Nope.
Long answer: We *might* release a bundle with the updated art, but most of the new code isn't compatible with DC, sorry.
