Tortured_Soul, I had the same problem when i was trying to get the demo working for modding and if you make a shortcut and tell it to use the SourceSDK base (i think you switch the numbers from where its getting it from 220 to 215) it may work...but I'm not so sure with the new fangled v1...havent run into that problem on it yet so it might be different...

Yeah, so when i make my box thing it has no texture, its just a few white lines making a box. I have tried to apply the metal texture to it and nothing happens. Also when i switch to camera mode or whatever i dont see my object. I have attempted to click on the 3D textured polygons button but to no avail not even a checkmark comes up on it. Please help someone.

I have played this mod for hours upon hours and it just keeps getting better, it is an unbeleivable game. I can't wait until you guys get the next update out. and by the way any idea when that will be?

excellent... i had tried to play the 1st one awhile ago but i couldn't get the installer going for some reason,but i DLed this new one yesterday and it worked perfectly fine...it is an excellent mod

Well, i tried to extract it to C:\Valve\steam\steamapps\sourcemods and it came up with a sourcemods folder with the metastasis file in it. so i clicked on it and it brought up a bunch of files for metastasis but i dont know where to go from there... i checked every file i think and i cant seem to bring up the game through it and its not in the my games folder in steam.

the mod sounds terrific but i can't seem to get it to work. i've unzipped it but it does not appear in my steam games folder. anyone know what i should do?

sorry i dant to act like a noob but, i just cant seem to be able to find the installer for this... ive had this problem with oter mods too. i have downloaded and installed some mods succesfully though, so i dont get why sometimes i can find the installer and sometimes not. please help, it looks like a great mod.
