Try disabling bloom, deleting/moving all savegames or if that does not help reinstall Freelancer and then the mod, since it is also a sign that the Freelancer installation was not clean.

It would be easier for us if you would give more details about your freelancer version. Since most our players use the English or German version it only was tested with installations from those.

Use a fresh installation of Freelancer.

Its not his mod its MY mod, he has nothing to do with us, i dont care when he's spamming our galerie.

Our Server is located in Frankfurt (Germany), we don't have a server in the USA and we're not planing to get one.
But we have some US player with pings of 100-130 wich is pretty much enough for a good pvp.

Guys PLZ stop picking on each other, SP is not supported.
I know it su**s but I simply don't have the time for it yet and also when i get the time i have tons of other things to do.
New Universe was designed as MP mod and therefor MP has priority.
But thats my problem u guys rly don't need to pick on each other for my fault. ;-)

The download from the-starport.net should work without problems.

Even if u get the server to the right version u will still not be able to play on the server because of permanent crashes!
We're using a few serverside tools for some custom ingame features, without these tools u wont get a server without crashes.
U will also need a few other modfiles that dont come with the client mod, such as NPC's ini's without this inis u will CDT every time u jump into a system with custom or reworked NPC's.

may i ask where are u from?
Our server is lockated in germany and most EU players have a ping below 60 and our US players are having a ping around 120-140.
Sry for not suporting single player we will spend some work in as soon as possible but we have other things on the list.
And why no players? are u only online at night? Check out our stats Cleanerbase.de
Maybe U're online at the wrong time :P

are u using a Kaspersky or norton firewall?
Cause we've firgured out for someplayers they cause problems.

Sadly SP is not supported at this time, this is a MP mod u can only play on the New Universe 24/7 Server.
When I have time I will also rework the SP, but that's on the end of my todo list.

How about this: meet each other at TS and try to sort things our, if u're not able to do so just leave each other allone!

@Joppinator: if u cant play its not my mod!
U're surely doing something wrong cause we have lots of players and no one has problems.
Maybe u need to reinstal your FL, or try FL SDK (DL @ www.img-modding.de).
If both doesnt work get FLMM 1.4 and try it again!

But plz stop saying its the mod cause its not! U're the first person with that problem!

U Should know that when u took a look at New Universe, or havent u seen our Oneil?

And for "stealing" your models:
U included them into FL, therefor those models arent your property anymore! They are now property of MS!
Read the license agreement if u think i lie!
