If you have installed 0.2b R2 then all the scanners should be working. You will need to install it on a clean copy of GTA SA. Do not install this over the top of an old version of the mod.
All, please note, I have had reports that the mod crashes when run under Windows XP. If you experience a crash, please report it using the Bug Tracker tool on our forum over at gtaknightrider.co.uk

Yes, there will be 3 versions. Actually that's a stock SA engine sound.
They WILL have their correct voices, the KARR shown in the video was KARR from the beginning of KITT VS KARR, before he changed his appearance. And no, that is not ki3t's engine sound.
No, Knight Research has no connection with this mod. We did speak to them about the possibility of merging the two mods together, however they were not interested in doing that. For some reason 1 or 2 of their team completely hate us. So to answer your question, this mod is being made by the GTA Knight Rider team, and NOT by Knight Research. There will be a re-release of 0.2b within the next week featuring an updated installer which is SA V2 friendly. We are currently working on new features for the mod, which will be made available via source code releases.

On another note, we have a new style installer which will be released within the next week, I would suggest waiting for that if you are having issues using the current release of 0.2b.
@AdjudantReflex, we are bringing the site back, but are still making some tweaks to the site. Fingers crossed the updated site will go live at some point this week.
It's what was causing the problem for me, I changed UP/DOWN_LIGHTS=2 to UP/DOWN_LIGHTS=3 and it stopped the crashing.

Ahem, I have to agree with Knightprowl, if you use code from other peoples mods without their permission, then it is quite easy to get a mod taken down.
Word to the wise, I would be careful that anything you release does not contain anyone elses code but your own.
@Ketchup2o yes the mod is coming back, the original author has passed it on to me to work on. I plan on making a few changes to it, I will announce the new structure for the mod once I have completed the revamp of the website/forums.

You can't load old save games with the mod installed.

Lots of them. Remember, 1955 Courthouse Square is being completely redone, and so far only 1 side of the street has been completed. There are 3 more streets to model yet.
That file is for internal use only. 0.2f is a long way from being finished, so don't expect it until next year.
