woot, built my new pc, nothing special, got a real dud from HP last pc i bought, this time just bought all the parts and put it in a case. getting dx installed was a mission tho. got dx10 and newvision enabled finally, which subsequently means i need to re-do all the damned indoor lighting :( thats like 600 lights that need to be tweaked, either that or its just the renderer settings, that need adjusting, it all looked fine in opengl renderer. anyway, heres a pic where my lvl transitions from indoor of transit hub to street, ie. the left side where the columns are is inside. there is also 3 other exits from the transit hub to the street. i am overlapping that level with a considerable amount of the street level covering everything visible from the transit hub map. now going to go check if my models look any different in dx10
Man that's beautiful
thanks dude, still not too sure about this particular design for merging the transit hub map with the street hub map. on the whole the maps are still very open, not alot of depth to them, so i may in future separate this rain structure to be freestanding and redesign the city to have the transit hub map more segregated from the street
You'll make a good work anyway ;)
But this screenshot in particular has an high cyberpunk atmosphere for me!
more cyberpunk is needed perhaps? the map still looks closer to the 2000's than 2050..
Perhaps... but, to me, the atmosphere is ever futuristic
