Great little game. Bought this a while ago from SophieH directly and looks like she sent out Desura keys. Thanks!

I was running the 1.25 version great. The new version gives me this error when starting the game -

"The application or DLL D:\Games\Masterspace\MSVCP100.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."

I renamed it just to see if I could start the game and it gave me the same error but with "MSVCR100.dll." After renaming that file I was able to start the game but terrain is black.

This is on Win XP 32 bit. I have a Win 7 computer I will try tomorrow and see if it runs. This was using this download on indiedb. I looked at the files in the paid version online on your website but they say 1.3 preview and not sure if those are the final 1.3 files.

Tried your demo, ugggh. I have only one word to describe this game - FANTASTIC!!!

The "ugggh" was because now I have another game to buy on payday. I never thought a 2D portal game would work. Not only did you prove it would work, but it works exceptionally well. I almost skipped this one (I thought this was just another 2D platformer) until I saw the demo link on and it was too easy not to try it. Excellent game.

For other people like me too lazy to look for the demo link -

I only played once. Waiting to buy full verson to play again, so this is from (not very good) memory - Removing designated area is definitely in the menu. I think I just right clicked the area and the option to remove designated area should be right there. I had to do this a couple of times.

Awesome game by the way.

Gonna buy this game after trying the demo from your website. Payday cannot come soon enough.

As far as the similarity to Dwarf Fortress - I don't care. As a matter of fact I am very happy that someone put real graphics to the awesomeness that is Dwarf Fortress. Also, it is much easier to play with mouse controls. Maybe this will get a whole lot more people interested in this type of game and some of those will give Dwarf Fortress a try that otherwise would have ignored it. Dwarf Fortress will always be king. These games just make it more accessible to gamers. It can be win-win for all of these games.

Thank you for making this game.

Looks nice. Can't wait for the toggle smooth, blocky. Maybe add a very dim highlight to what ground you are going to affect when digging like minecraft (or even less noticeable) when using the smooth terrain would help, but not overdone like the minecraft clones.

Excellent game and the spaceships and traveling to other planets really makes it fun.

The price doesn't bug me (well at 50% off), but I am a single player kinda person. Also, if the game relies on an online population that is small or nonexistent than so is the game. I'll keep an eye on this because it does have some really cool features and wish you luck.

$1.99 - Just buy it. What a unique game. The graphics suck, but that's how I like my games sometimes (dwarf fortress). Great idea for a game - even better executed that I would have thought possible. Price is a steal. Thanks.

Don't know if you ever played "Kerbal Space Program," but their planetary terrain LOD is pretty ingenius.

I don't want to comment on the clone of another game deal.

I bought on the first day and really well done game. Graphics, controller support (even vibrates my 360 controller) really nice. The jumping is a little floaty, but really like this game a lot. Very polished, very fun.

I really like how the character walks towards the mouse when pressing forward. The only thing I would change is item selection. Simple is best. Maybe use shift + left click to select one item at a time and have it default to picking all blocks by just left clicking and left click to drop it in your quick select bar because most people will want to grab all their dirt blocks or torches at one time and drop them in their quick select. Controls should be second nature like breathing - you don't have to think about it.

Have to mention Minecraft here - It is so simple to play that my friend's twin 6-year-olds can play. The complexity comes from the gameplay and crafting as you learn new recipies, so it works for the very young all the way to adults and everyone has fun. Terraria is probably pushing the limits of more complex controls for younger kids to be able to play and have fun. Good second step up from minecraft. More streamlined controls allows the gamer to think about the game and forget about what keys or which mouse button to use.

I love any games with breakable blocks, crafting and creatures. I'm hoping this turns into a winner for the devs and the gamers.
