I'm not quite sure what you mean, some of the team had been looking into CE3 for a fair while, before it was suggested on here. I have also made mods in the engine before, so know probably more about it than I do the Creation Engine.
CE3 is looking likely to be the engine for whatever we do next, since Skyrim is constantly throwing issues at us, and Cryengine 3 is a long was superior in almost all respects.

No offence was taken, in fact, the whole team was thinking the same thing. We do currently have plans, and you'll all find out in good time ;)

I don't think its correct at all to say that most of their games suck. yes, maybe their business practices at the moment ruin certain things, but just look at the list of games they've published in the past (and even recently). Things like the Crysis series, SSX, Mass Effect, The Sims, Battlefield, Deadspace, Skate, Mirror's Edge and Dragon Age. And the rest!
Also in my experience Origin is far from Horrible, yes it would be better if it wasn't there at all, same with Steam, but it works and isn't massively intrusive.

For oblivion, get the disk version. Steam plays havok with mods, since its not inherently a steam workshop game. ;)
