I eat games, I live games, and I think games will probably be the death of me. Eh...what can you do? Life is great. On-line games played often: Resistance & Liberation mod, Team Fortress 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and Perfect World. Current Project: Soul Reaper -Character design for cut-scenes (currently), translation for Eastern Front, and an indie games with my brother (no comment until it's almost finished).
For all the idiots who write crap because the Internet unleashed that notion that because you write something...now you are more important than everything else.
The truth is, from what I seen, a good conversion mod takes a few years. It's for free, so it's not it's the team's job where they can focus on it on a daily basis. (School, job, family, relationships, etc.) The average is around 2-3 years for it to get to a completely playable version.
Good work by the way. I would almost pass out if I saw EF and PT come together into the ultimate unofficial expansion pack. The Japanese faction in Normandy 44...man that's sounds good.
I found the Oshteer once, but it was catch and release. I had to let them go.
Another Ren'Py game...too bad it's not my type of story. Congratulation on the release though.
Without the cross hairs, it will have more of a Resistance and Liberation feel to it. I certainly welcome that update, so iron sight will be used more often since I am very accustomed to using it.
I used to play Blitzkrieg for more realism a lot before I found this, and then I switched over. The limitations for picking a particular faction, unit, and sub-unit isn't seen on any other CoH mod.
The last version was made over a year ago, but it's still fun as heck. Keep up the good work. (The fact it was already compatible the the latest update was really nice.)
Yup. I still play. I started early beta. I know about a week ago I was in a full server. Now that was fun.
Dang. 11 minutes...revo still wins. Close match.
Mount and Blade was just meant for this mod. The American Revolutionary War is very different than the Napoleonic era. Sure it has muskets, but its way better than BG2.
More units, weaponry, arty, musicians, and of course horsies. It is not the same as BG2 and the engine is also different. BG2 uses Source.
If by problem you mean accuracy of guns, you're an idiot. Smooth bore weapons aren't accurate.
When there are trolls around, you don't feed them. In this case recon was fed plenty.
The random system works very well. Play it and you'll find out.
Primary weapon can get a pitchfork (win by the way), spear, old musket, scythe, large 2-handed axe, or some kind of wooden stake farming tool (not sure of the name).
Secondary weapon could be a knife, axe, broken bottle (one shot thrown weapon), or a club.
Captain always has a sword and pistol like any other regiment.
Oh come on. It's a visual novel/simulator, not porn. Just because it's made in visual novel format...that doesn't mean instantly make it dirty to entice males.
With the way it controls, it makes me want to play Microsoft Flight Simulator.
It isn't a game you just jump into. I recommend a lot of training and practice before you join real servers.
*Sigh* And then there are people like you, it's a sad world. It's a modified version of the original PlayStation game. Christ people...learn to be more observant. You need a PlayStation emulator to run it.
Is it for PC? Technically no since it's a modded PS1 game; however, you need an emulator to run it, so you need a computer. Is it for PC? Yes!
The main character's sprite is recolored, but it isn't when he's shopping, at the bar, or soldier office. I assume it's the original because it's a still frame picture rather than actually loading sprites; therefore, it can load quickly.
Personally I like the blue better because it's my favorite color; otherwise, bravo, I am impressed by mod.
I already downloaded it, and I can't wait to try this out. I can't believe this treasure has been hidden from me until two days ago.
I just wanted to put this out there, but has anyone noticed how useless the rocket launcher is?
Riot shotgun (assault type), sniper rifle, and grenade launcher (love the plasma upgrade) are about the only weapons that can be used throughout the game. The other weapons were good until lasers replaced them. The rocket launcher was fail from the beginning. Is there some kind of method that I'm not using it correctly? I always miss (even in almost point blank range), so it seems rather wasteful when you can give the heavy weapon person the rail type gun after it's researched.
Why don't you just use 7-Zip then? It's the best open source compression software. It'll read it. 7-zip.org Extract the files if it doesn't open from within the program (which is the most likely case), and it should work no doubt.
Oh how right you are, but don't throw it out just yet. I love the Total War series since I first played them, but Empire was a major disappointment. The Terra Incognita mod is the only thing that makes it worthwhile to play. (It is the best mod in my opinion for Empire. The front line actually crouches to allow the lines behind to fire.)
Besides that...I'll have to look into this mod too being that I also enjoy Battle Grounds 2.
"character models and animations re still awful.
fail."
That is not constructive criticism. That's just an insult. Constructive criticism is to explain what is wrong in detail; hence, it can be improved later.
I'll wait for the demo before I give feedback. As a fellow RPG Maker creator, I support you. *Salute* Oh, I'll also add that the drawing pad will change your life. It's odd to work with at first, but it's amazing once you get used to it.
I'm working on some sketches for now. I should have some nice concept art when I get feedback from the raptor.
Here I was concerned about the future of RPG Maker since the community isn't what it used to be as of late, but this is good news. As a fellow RPG creator, I'm pleased.
Why for the iPad? If I may ask. Isn't that like saying you're making it for a slightly smaller limited use laptop?
As cool as the design looks, and it does, I'm confused about the choice on only the iPad.
Oh, I thought they just got rid of it and kept it a secret, no wonder I couldn't roll. It's good to know it will be back in 1.6.
The medic class is the most difficult class to make. It has to be useful enough for a player to want to use it, and it has to be fun at the same time. That's just the decision part and not even the creation of the unit. As much as I am for it, I'm not sure how useful it would be in this kind of game.
Especially since the suggested weapon is only a knife (which is pretty much useless in this game). I guess you pick up a fallen comrade's weapon/enemy's or a teammate shares a weapon as the way to compensate being "weaponless" I assume.
Though honestly, I would play medic. I play healer classes at a lot, from Team Fortress 2 to MMOs.
Indeed. As a fellow Ren'py user, I agree. I'm tracking this too.
Picking up gold? You must be mad sir! Mad!
The gold picking up increases time playing instead of item selling. A genius way to fix the problem. That's the win-win for everyone. Besides, I've always pick up gold. I mean, it's free money. It would be stupid to just leave it alone.
I didn't know this was even on Mod DB. Makes it easier to keep tabs on this game now. My laziness pays off.
I love how there's this huge gap in time between D636A6D and lethal_vortex. It's finally being noticed.
This seems like new spin on the usual block dropping puzzle game. The block eater is so funny. Yummy blocks.
Because no one else is willing to use a server for this game, it's that simple.
