I'll probably save your life one day...
just so impressive...
"ModDB is working with the developers of TNM to pull back the curtain on Deus Ex's greatest mod." That's quite misleading. Not a lie, but definitely misleading.
Still, good to read, so whatevs.
No, I think motion blur will look good, as long as it's very, very sparingly applied.
Awesome concept for your STALKER patch. Quick of the mark, rocking.
Congratulations to the winners. Glad I didn't enter, I would've been served up on a silver platter.
Indeed. Here's a link to the thread that brought this on us. Everyone thank Grobi and GameServers.com :D.
Yay! Reinforces Aenea's sentiments.
Good going, guys.
Nice signature with the consoles. I was going to do that, but then I made a PC one instead. Happy Christmas!
Sexy. Very, very sexy.
Heh. DESTROY!. Love the Motley Crue. Love the Padman Video.
Nice stuff. Lovin' the Lego AK-47.
...And damned if she ain't sexy, either.
Great going guys! Good luck Vance in all your future works.
Whoa. I wrote the exact same comment without seeing it there. I left it for a while, then wrote and posted, and by the time I had, someone else had written the exact same thing. CREEPY!X)
Looks cool. I gotta check me this mod out!
Damn good mapping.
Watch'd. Nice concept. That means you now have five dots watching altogether.
I still think it's silly having Tai Chi as a "kung-fu" style. Good luck getting that working. :P
I'll keep my eye on this one, though.
Looks bloody amazing. Congratulations guys! I'm loving that sunset.
Good. Nice to see a great patch for a great mod.
Jesus Christ! Get it? ;)
Looking crash hot.
The texture on the hull needs more work, but the shader for the ship's engines looks fantastic.
This pleases me.
Technically, I could afford a Source licence, but I don't want one. It isn't my style. I don't like lightmaps. XD
Either way, licence or not, I still call the bluff.
Oh, you wih you had the eletric crowbar. ;)
/me parrys Aza's shot and turns on him with a stunstick. Okay, so there isn't a parry system, but it would be cool.XD
Oh emm gee! Hotness! Looking fantastic!
It's okay, you can see it on their gallery. High res and everything, it's a nice concept.
Congratulations on the award, Varsity picked the right mod for this forntight. Very well deserved, and a great looking mod.
Well, it's good to know that you keep inspired. What is it you do for The Oppression, anyway?
Fantastic environment, looks a lot like FarCry. Well done.
I agree, actually. I understand it might not have come accross that way, but my point was that out of the three games released around the same time, slated to be "next-gen" and awesome modding platforms, Half-Life 2 has seen the overwhelming majority of big-budget mods. I agree though Ichi, those mods you state all seem like they rock hard.
It looks fantastic. It might take me a while to get it downloaded, but I have high hopes. Good to see a mod team doing a Gamasutra post-morten, good going.
Oh gods. VALVe made Hammy-Bob. Oh gawd!xd
Yes, yes it is. But I'm hoping it will involve more people than that. I just plan to code, texture and do level design. Oh, and did I mention the first version of the design document is done?
Am I pumped. I didn't think this was ever going to happen! Woot!
OMFG! Why has Battlefield 40,000 taken over your life! I was into the Cerebral Protocol in a big way! I want your old signature back!XD
Looks great though.
I'd love to give it a go, but I have a download bug. It would be corrupted. :(
In answer to your question. Everyone.
Looking excellent. I might sign up a bit later on.
Yah. I've got it downloaded and I'm waiting faithfully for the password. Looks great.
Defentely. This mod isn't worth giving up on. It has the same lovely feeling liker getting ganked in your favourite MMORPG. Inexplicably fun.
I think it doesn't look good, but that doesn't matter. It's just ultra low poly, at least you haven't wasted polygons on utter crap.
Is it easier to get content in game that say, for example, quake based engines?
Anyway, that's some lovely work right there. Congratulations.
Methinks. Looking awesome, love the screenie, love the theme and love the backgrounds.
Sure they should. Mods already have the hard work done, as far as coding goes. Graphics shouldn't come into the matter though. All comparisons should be based around design. A mod team has just as good a chance of kicking arse in the design department as a big game, as they have community, resources and interest, as they shouldn't be modding if they don't.
I would love to see more comparisons.
Quote from the website:
"Ronius loves his heavy weapons so will often be seen with a heavy machinegun…"
Fanservice! Nah, seriously, nice going guys.
You said it perfect.
I think this mod needs to be in Stuffy's hands to be so magic. Really nice writeup for a well deserving mod. I like the miage of what I assume could be Hammy-bob, though it could of course be a Chop.
Yeah, what was with that? No exclusive screenie? I want my time back!!
Yay! Monkey Island rocks. This looks like it will rock too!!
Beat on the Brat, Beat on the Brat, Beat on the Brat with a Baseball Bat, oh yeah!
The ancient temple level is looking particularly cool. Severance as a whole is. Look forward to this, worth dusting out FarCry for.
Looks to be a great mod, keep up the great work guys and Equilibrium does own hardcore.
Bah, I buy games to play them, not to look at some box. Jewel Case for me, though I don't say no to a box and manual when offered.
Heat of Battle just made CoD that little bit better. I think that HoB is a great idea for Source. I, for one, can't wait.
Sorry, just got the mod started today. Will have a site soon. White Epsilon (another mod of mine) is a great mod if you are into deep strategy though.
I'm building the site as we speak!
Looks rather nice.
It is just RTS. We debated having it FPS too, but it has been done before and loses the "wow" factor the third or fourth time. And the art would have been harder ;)
Major respect. Morrowind needed that to make it worthwhile. Dialogue was repetitive and uniteresting. You have a winner here.
Nice, and good to see a war FPS that isn't WWII. Good work guys, and ultimately, good luck.
Nice to see Dreamscape progressing like this. Congratulations on the build, it looks great.
And he is dangerously sexxxy in MI2: LeChuck's Revenge with that sensual beard. Oh no! Just talking about it has made a mess.
Yay! I got a mention in an awesome newspost. Thanks also to Ippo and Joe for the award, but congratulations to you guys. I can't wait for the standalone. I'll PM you guys about preview/review possibilities, if you're interested. Cheers.
Should make zombie slayin' all the more exciting.
That, ah, does convey scale quite well...
Is everyone "gunna" forget about Gloom when saying that Natural Selection is the first FPS/RTS and about Iron Grip when saying that Empires is the best on HL2? Well, the way I see it, it's a genre, this looks to be a nice addition to it. Good going!
Looking amazing. Go Virgil!
Creepy. I LIKE!
It sure does. :P
Nice car. Better than Baza's piece of ****.
I don't like the character texturing or the scale of the ground texture, but damned if it doesn't look hectic, fun, and damn awesome apart from that.
That is a huge chunk of text that I'm never going to read. Break it down into paragraps to make it easier to read.
Good going Full Metal Team Awesome!
Absolutely amazing art. Good going from the entire team.
Everyone ignores the atmospherical effects, which look ****-hot.
See if you can make the texture draw itself procedurally, rather than create the texture procedurally. Then, you could eliminate the crosshatch looking bumpmap. Apart from that, it looks hot though.
It thought it had been a rather quick jump. Still, any dot's a good dot.
Good going, GR team.
Wonderful looking. Amazing art.
Don't do it.
Whoa, I thought it was some new guy. That joined four years ago... X)
It works fine for me. A nice job all round, I'd say.
I love it, evcen the PC version.
Please don't post any more pictures like that. ModDB isn't an image board, especially not 4chan. More of this **** will lead to a warn, which isn't fun.
Congratulations on AddonDB content management!
Yeh. That's what I thought.XD
