I am also a Musician / Producer and love to score music for any mod I am involved in!

we have dynamically integrated the grain effect into areas we think need it :)

not a lightmap, it's our fully dynamic lighting :O
the problem isn't fixed, but we're currently using a workaround that lets us develop using an older version of the SDK.

join the grass to the concrete with an alpha blend instead of displacement over the top <3

the handling and tracks currently remind me more of F-Zero than mario kart i have to say
valve has ruined the SDK which means we haven't made any progress for a long time, we are taking steps to sort this out ourselves but obviously the situation is a little out of our control.

we're not using a crowbar. where have you got this from? we're currently trying to think of awesome replacements to the crowbar, any suggestions welcome :)

also either compile with -textureshadows -staticproppolys or disable shadows on those fences, so you don't get those bad shadowing on them.
we are too close to finishing the mod entirely (when the sdk is repaired) to worry about a demo.
i agree, this is just a mod, not a professional product. Demos for real games are often a waste of time as well.
due to all the problems with the SDK updates, we're not as far along in development as we'd like to be. We'll have some sort of official announcement for you soon :)

so when you fire, does the gun go instantly to aim-mode (which i imagine looks turd) or is there a brief delay as an aim animation plays?

we are in development crunch mode, so will probably hold off on any more updates until we have a release ready for you :)
the light being cast by those light-sources doesn't match the brightness of the model textures... and the whole area is quite dark. I think this would definite benifit from those lights being increased by 20 :)
next time you do videos, can they not be 25 seconds of titles then 5 seconds of actual media?
