Lead animator and general forum loiterer for MERP TC for Skyrim
I don't think its correct at all to say that most of their games suck. yes, maybe their business practices at the moment ruin certain things, but just look at the list of games they've published in the past (and even recently). Things like the Crysis series, SSX, Mass Effect, The Sims, Battlefield, Deadspace, Skate, Mirror's Edge and Dragon Age. And the rest!
Also in my experience Origin is far from Horrible, yes it would be better if it wasn't there at all, same with Steam, but it works and isn't massively intrusive.
Rant over :P
For oblivion, get the disk version. Steam plays havok with mods, since its not inherently a steam workshop game. ;)
PS. We're still alive... just.
What you've done there, is paraphrase the FAQ.
Yeah, we want to keep the vibrancy of oblivion where we can. Though the washed-out-ness of skyrim will have its place.
GoPetition has systems for removing doubles, assuming the same email/name combo has been used.
Yes, but once we feel the time is right.
No news yet, sorry. But we will post it when it comes.
Just a note: Please do NOT sign multiple times, spammers will have ALL of their signatures removed. We do want more signatures, but we are still doing this legitimately.
We hope so too, and to finally be able to give you some work :P
We cannot edit or remove posts on this section, but for gods-sake stop. Do not start a political flame war on here or you'll both end up with a ban.
Isilmeriel is on the MERP team, you can get her weapon pack over on TES nexus.
We hope to release information as soon as possible, currently we can't say much. Its not looking horrible though.
There is a twitter feed on the right of the page, admittedly its only half the conversation though.
You will find out soon enough.
if you read up on it you'll know that we answered that on the previous page. You need to get 25000 signatures in 30 days. We didnt
The Third Age Total war is also released, you can't un-ring a bell. Once its on the internet, you can't do anything about it.
What on earth are you on about? WB gained the rights in 2008.
once we get back into discussion, then we hit them with it
exactly, its like saying that if you bought a chocolate bar, then gave a friend some, then that's pirating.
We are already at the engine limit, if you fancy making us a 64 bit set of modding tools, be our guest. :P
Also please don't post multiple times.
we have been and always will base our work on the book.
No, the worst case is that each team member gets sued, the mod stopped and WB getting the rights to do this to every other LotR fan art around.
WB will not be willing to spend millions hunting us down, because 1: they certainly will not be getting millions back to make doing that worth while, 2: if they did it not to make a profit, it would be to make an example of us and scare all other LotR fans into submission, which by US law is illegal and wouldn't happen.
So does this means we have to burn the rest of WB to get them to decide? :P
We've made it to the top 100, now we just need votes to climb to #1! :D
We still don't know, but we are having trouble contacting WB because of their other legal battle with TE. Though the situation is looking better for us, we still don't know if the end result will be good.
We will post news as soon as we can once we know anything, we have not abandoned the mod, or our supporters. So thank-you for still believing in the mod, and we will try to work something out as soon as possible. :)
Thank god he didn't do the Bob Ross thing of 'Make the noise of what you are painting' :P
