I'm just a gypsy dude, livin free on the East Coast. I enjoy Warhammer 40k, BattleTech, and Philosophy. I hope to spread free thought amongst the people of the world. To be free is the ultimate goal. An I'm not talking anarchy here, I'm talking existentialism, where we make our choices bassed on our own thinking, not spoon-fed crap from mass media. Anyways, I like stuff like that, plus good music, so hear! hear! I shall be modding before the time for reveloution is nigh.

I actually like the weapon positioning. I never liked the fact that you can't see the stock in most First Person Shooters, considering that in real life you're eyes are about 3-6 inches behind the reciever... depending on the weapon of course. With this position it actually looks like the weapon is shouldered and ready to fire, instead of looking like you're holding the weapon in a half-assed limp wristed way which games call "hip shots." On that note, the left wrist is a bit awkward, I think that it should be straightened out a bit. But considering everything else, I can easily over-look that fact.

Looks good Dez, keep up the great work!

Thats why I like Kany's version in OL 2.2 and Jamie's faction wars. They both have random squads of 4 to 20ish dudes moving to strategic locations and clearing out enemies. Just the other day I was playing WolfeHunters big mod pack with Jamie's Factions Wars merged in, and I watched Mercenaries push into rostok from the Wild Territory. They made it all the way to the Bar before Duty and Loners repelled them. It was quite a sight.

By the way, thank you for the offer. Whenever your schedule opens up, I would be glad to have you on the team.

Honestly, I dislike the Faction Wars system in Clear Sky. I much prefer the systems used by Kanyhalos or Jamie1992. The one in Clear Sky is just too YOU dependant to me. I much prefer to see armies take each other out of their own accord.
That, and I think XRAY 1.5 had a alot of potential, but they rushed it, so its nowhere near as good as it could have been.

Could someone give this guy a positive karma point since I accidentally gave him a negative karma point?

Well, it took a while because progress has been slow. But hey, I have lots of vikadin for the wisdom teeth, and a better job with better shifts (graveyard because I'm a nocturnal mofo). So now, progress will be much more swift.

Oh and I couldn't help this, I blame it on your name.....

Unfortunately, I do not. The only modding teams for STALKER that has done anything like this is DezoWave (Who in my eyes, are f-ing talented), NEWSA, Kanyhalos, and the guys of AMK. AMK speaks Russian, NEWSA is working on NEWSA, Kany has vanished as far as I know, and DezoWave is currently working on Lost Alpha (which looks phenomenal). I am currently going solo, but any talented modders out there are welcome to join!

Just so you know, I tried to give you good karma, but I accidentally clicked on bad karma. My apologies, man.

Take this from someone who still plays Classic BattleTech with my friends... THIS IS AWESOME! I saw the modeling work you've done and I am glad to see such great work. And thank you so very much for sticking to the classic miniatures, not that wizkids rape job.

I believe this lack of mod tools and sdk has something to do with THQ, not Relic itself. Several other sequels to major titles had a sudden drop off of modder support. For example, STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl had tremendous modding tools out there. SDK, dll files, you name it. But when Clear Sky came out, GSC decided not to release any form of SDK or mod support. So as I said, it may be the publisher/contract, not the developer.
