I'm just a gypsy dude, livin free on the East Coast. I enjoy Warhammer 40k, BattleTech, and Philosophy. I hope to spread free thought amongst the people of the world. To be free is the ultimate goal. An I'm not talking anarchy here, I'm talking existentialism, where we make our choices bassed on our own thinking, not spoon-fed crap from mass media. Anyways, I like stuff like that, plus good music, so hear! hear! I shall be modding before the time for reveloution is nigh.

Most AKs imported in the late 90s were required to be "Sporterized" IE, no pistol grip. This could very well be an example of a WASR, PSL, or even an american made 901c compliance part. It was a stupid regulation that was part of the now expired ATF Assault Weapons Ban (which they still enforce despite expiration) and '94 Kalashnikov Ban that required imports to have at least 5 US made parts. It made no sense, but then again, I've yet to see any gun regulation make sense...

Waiting for a parts kit so I can mount a AK74su style flip-up receiver, similar to AR15s. Why? So I don't have to unmount, remount, and re-zero my EOTech every goddamn time I clean my rifles (twice a week).

All matching serials, arsenal markings, and was in "pick-up" condition when purchased. (Pick up, as in it was untouched since it was picked up from the field somewhere in the eastern front, wwII... which means it probably killed nazis) Refinished and further abused by me.

The only difference between M1a, M14, and M21 is the barrel/compensator, and fire group. M1a's and M14s are identical with the exception of a run of about 2400 M14s that were fully automatic. M21s have a heavier barrel with no compensator, or an a1 birdcage flash hider. I all reality, though, they are all exactly the same gun. Same action, same mechanisms, just different names for who they're issued to and at which time period.

I've been playing campaign with this mod and I have to say I'm loving it. Everything balances out well, even on campaign... With one exception: the Balcora Gate mission... 6 Vagyr Battle Cruisers equal instant rape of your entire fleet... I resorted to hiding all my major ships waaaaay off away from the battle and whittled away at the BCs with endless bombers for 4 1/2 hours... Who knew? Guerrilla warfare in space!

On another note, I loved the Turanic Raiders in multiplayer. Top notch! Even the little cosmetic upgrades were superb! Pouk, I am happy to say I am ten-fold more impressed with 3c than I was with 3b... which says alot considering how much I liked B... :) Keep up the awesome work man!

I have an AMD-63 (older model with wood furniture) and I just LOOOOOVE it. The compensator works wonders, and it takes just about any AK I jam into it, unlike other AKs I've tried which seemed to be excessively picky.

Not true... If you changed it every hundred shots, you'd be lugging around 50 lbs in barrels alone. You change it when it starts to warp, which could be anywhere between 8000 rounds to 20,000 rounds... Depending on conditions, weapon, and quality of the barrels of course.

Why does it matter...? I created this group when all the gun groups I found were filled with airsofters and paintballers, with very few number of people who actually owned REAL guns... I created this for people into REAL lead, not electric powered bb guns. If there is any problem with that, then I suggest you take it up with the management... which is me... And I own guns... :P

Finally got the new build installed, and got it working after MANY hours of trying to figure out why H2 kept CTDing. For future information for anyone running Windows 7 x64, I suggest you DISABLE DEP (Data Execution Prevention) before installing/patching homeworld. For some reason it blocks installers from creating or updating the .big files. Disabling DEP made it so I could run a multitude of older games too: Quake, System Shock 2, and Dungeon Keeper. So, I strongly recommend doing this if you intend to play this mod (or H2 for that matter), or any other older games.

I do intend to pick this back up someday... keyword: someday. However, for the time being, I've been dealing with... well... a lot. In all honesty, I can barely even motivate myself to wake up in the morning anymore.

And for another moment of honesty. Even if I did finish this mod, I quite frankly wouldn't want to publicly release it. The way our species acts... yeah, there's no point anymore.
