I think that music influences the heart more than the brain. the heart is sending more information to the brain than the other way round. Thats why we people are upset when we want to chill out and some neighbour is playing loud music. the heart has his own rythm.

I agree with your heart/brain connection, in a physical sense it's completely true. it's why death metal rarely goes over 200 BPM. heart won't operate any faster than that. It's especially true of goa and psy trance, they never waver from around 145 BPM for their 9 minutes,if you're in the mood your heart assimilates, it's great.
