It's been a while since I've played a good mod. I'm looking forward to it.
Secret prison? Do I smell FEMA?
User of the ******* millennium.
Just set a LAM on it and shoot it with the pistol.
FREEMAN'S MIND - THE GAME.
This is pretty amazing. It's almost Portal-esque, and that's saying something.
Wow! I didn't know this kind of scenery was possible with Source technology!
Today, I learned that people can make an accurate and funny parody, and that old gamers are bitter arrogant bastards.
I completely agree. This game just grabs you in and won't let go. It's rich with symbolism as well, like the two-tiered island of Hengsha, which is a clear metaphor for the upper and lower classes.
Most powerful? Oh, absolutely not! But very versatile, very modifiable, and one of the longest running engines out there! They used it for HL2 7 years ago and are still using it on the new Counter-Strike!
They're still using Source? Holy ****! They've got a ton of mileage on that old engine, but it still runs like a charm! I wish my car was more like Source...
The front page has never lied to me before! I'll have a go at this!
You're working so hard that you're dreaming of your game? Holy christ you're dedicated.
Take off the nostalgia glasses and realize how amazing some new games are. News flash: There were tons of ****** games in "the good ol' days" too, but they've just gone under the radar.
THIS IS BETTER THAN 80% OF THE **** ON THIS SITE
This was an absolutely amazing concept. It's a shame that the cocaine of the gaming world got the best of the leader. If I ever learn how to make mods like this, I'll carry on your ideas.
I'll put this mod on the fridge so everyone can see it!
I usually put function before form, but DAMN you are pushing "The little engine that could" to its limits. I probably won't be able to play this on high settings, but it should be fun anyway.
EVERYBODY'S GETTING MAD
No, but it was made for people that can use the ellipsis properly... <--- SEE THAT? THREE DOTS. Not seven, not thirteen, THREE!
This was a very... interesting mod. It was also pretty good! It genuinely did remind me of old "Mummy" movies. Plus the final boss was very interesting.
But by far the best part about the mod was the music. I idled at the starting screen just to hear the entire song!
This sounds pretty good. If I still play mods in 2012, I'll be sure to check it out. However, your English is a bit broken, and poor spelling and grammar tend to give a bad impression to others. To remedy this, I'll re-format your opening paragraph:
This is the story of a man who lived before the 7 hour war. His name was Jack Travor. He's a Search and Rescue operative and lives with his girlfriend. One day, he went with his friend, Mitchell, on a mission. But on the road, something strange happened that would change his life forever...
"However, while he is in the restroom, his world gets flipped upside down."
Oh God, I hope he wasn't taking a crap. Eughhhh...
On a serious, non-poop joke related note, I'm looking forward to this. It sounds like a horror-type mod with a lot of action, akin to Nightmare House.
