This is a part of the petition. We all know that WB loves money, and if you say that you will not buy their products, they will care then and maybe reconsider.

Try to stay more positive, you never know what can happen, but it can't go worse than this, so there is only going up option :)

I don't think making an in-game video is a problem. First, making a video doesn't say ANYTHING that sounds like the team is working on the mod. And there is nothing that can prove that you made this video now. You can always say that video was made earlier, but it was never been released.

This mod got me interested in 3d modelling, and I always imagined Middle Earth game like a free roam open world where you can look on the horizon and say "I wanna go there" and simply go. I played many LOTR games, and wanna play many others, and I think that this mod will get us fans even closer. Too bad that this happened, and I hope it will continue developing, because it's the most beautiful thing that happened in gaming industry for me. I wanna explore that world, be a part of it, and I wanna go in every single corner of Middle Earth. And I never saw so many talented people on one place, who dedicated their free time to create something that we all love. :)

Did someone composed a letter to Peter Jackson?

Yeah, you're right. And that letter should be written very carefully, so it would be good to post them so we all can see it before sending.
Also, I received a PM from one fan that suggests that we send a letter to Christopher Lee. Well, I'll leave this idea to you, so you can discuss it, if you aren't already, BUT, maybe that would be a good idea, since we all know how big Tolkien fan he is. :)

Couldn't agree more. How many times I saw a bad comment on youtube that could been much better. I think also that a letter from developer would be the best. But I'm affraid only that ONE letter can go unnoticed? Is there some way that we can support that letter or something, so it can't be unreaded like thousands of other letters from adoring fans?

If everyone would think just like you, petition would have 0 signatures. Fortunately, most people are not like you. And second, you know how powerful is internet today. It depends on every individual if this will work or not. Think of it this way. On facebook page are around 2000 people right now. If every one of them would invite only 5 people, that would be 10 000 people only on Facebook, not to mention petition (which has 5X more people than facebook page) and on MODDB. That way is engaging a chain reaction (especially when it's something LOTR related, many people like that stuff). And one more thing: you really think that some large company would not listen to that many people? WB is a joke in compare of some countries, in which such things as petitions works. That's because the mass is the most powerful. Same thing is with WB, they can afford 10 000 angry customers, but when there would be a much higher rate, I doubt they would ignore that. You said that they only care about the money. And what do you think, who brings them the most income and money? That's right, people (customers), and they can't risk losing much customers. But as I said, it depends on you as much as it depends on me and everyone else here.

I thought donations were given directly to you, and then sent to petitions site. I don't know how many money you have been donated, and don't know how many licence would cost, but I assume they can make as much high price as they want. But, how much would it cost, approx?

you mentioned in your comment that you have been receiveing donations, and that they are going on advertising for petition. How people donate to you exactly? and how do you advertise petition with donated money exactly? And one more question. Why don't you save that money and spend it on maybe possible licence from WB?

don't get too excited yet. Obviously, we are getting noticed, but we still don't know is that a good or bad thing. You know that WB can push against even harder because what's happening. We don't know what will happen :)
